Pros:  Quiet, Super Quick Blending, Appearance & Construction

Cons:  Walks A Little When Using Smoothie Setting Because Of Pulsating. I decided to write a review on this Breville Ikon BBL600XL Blender because there was a shortage of reviews. Before I got this blender, I used to have a cheap Betty Crocker blender which was noisy and took forever to make my smoothie. I had to everytime get a spoon and shift the contents around so it will blend, what a pain that was. I decided to search for a new blender because when I started to workout at a gym and making 2-3 smoothie a day, my old blender was not it. So after searching and reading Consumer Reports on blender, I got a Krups KB720 blender for its quietness and power. First, let me back up a little, I lived in a townhouse and my neighbor has one powerful blender Vita-mix 5000 but it is soo loud that I could hear it everytime he used it. Quiet was my number one concern and power and construction was next. Anyways, the Krups KB720 blender did not do a good job at all on my smoothie. I was completely surprise. It took forever to crush the ice and mix that my old blender really did a better job. There was many other blender that I considered but this Breville BBL600XL had high reviews and best of all was on sale! Using this Breville blender has made a world of difference. It takes only seconds to make my smoothie on low speed. There are no problems with the ice and no more spoon mixing for my smoothie. The only thing with this blender is that it walks a little when I use the automatic timed Smoothie button because of the pulsating it does to blend my smoothie...start, stop, start, stop for 60 seconds. So now I just press #1 setting for 5-10 seconds and it blends perfect with no walking. I think this review is a bit too long already so to a final recommendation: Buy it!! Even better with coupons from BBB or some sales.
