Cons:
6 1) Battery is difficult to replace and almost impossible to jump start. 2) Purchase and install a float battery charger during periods between mowing. 3) Changing oil is very messy. 4) Mine had plastic wheels w/ pneumatic tires: wheels kept breaking had to be replaced 3 times purchased wheels of different brand to cure problem. Sears refused to recall and install appropriate wheels. While under warranty after warranty expired offered updated parts for over $50. 5) Mowed debris collects under hood/seat preventing electrical switch from being activated and allowing mower to start. Its a good idea to purchase an air compressor to remove debris. 6) If you can find a replacement blade buy it neither Sears stores in Tyler, or Longview, have them some store in Ft. Worth may have them but the salesperson wasn't shure which one PRO 1) Mowed very well till the blade wore out. I would still use it if I had a blade in good condition. NOTHING RUNS LIKE A DEERE

Pros:
Has good Briggs & Stratton Engine |

|
Cons:
Needs repair 1-2 times a season I read a 'caution' review on this mower but bought it anyway (because of the ability to mow in close quarters). It's been a headache from the beginning. Had to have ignition replaced right off, then the carb, plus several other problems. Waiting for Sears repairman now. Only buy this mower if you get a looong extended warrenty, and if you have mechanical ability yourself. It mows great, when it will start. In 1993, I bought a Murray with a 12.5 Briggs & Stratton engine. It's still running great.
