This open skillet consists of strong stainless steel and has a double cap aluminum base for even heating throughout the pan. This type of layered metal construction will stand up to the use of metal forks, tongs and whisks, and is oven and broiler safe. The base consists of a layer of aluminum, then copper, followed by more aluminum and finally a layer of 18/10 stainless steel to deliver exceptional cooking performance with reduced hot spots. Unique tapered shape makes stirring and whisking easy, while the larger space at the top speeds reduction for rich, flavorful sauces.
