Two doors. White oak exterior, unfinished. Thermometer. Individual wood / aluminum racking. Brass finish lock / key. State of the art Wine Mate cooling system. Approx. Bottle Capacity: 350. Vinotemp wine cabinets are designed with an insulation factor of 12. Higher insulation is availalbe for those located in extreme environments or for wine cabinets not positioned inside the home. Wine Mate cooling units are top of the line, and are NOT imported, but made here in the Los Angeles area. This is very important because something this vital to keep your wine cellar cool, should not be trusted with inferior components. The Wine Mate 1500 is UL approved. This is very important when considering a wine cabinet. The wine racks are made with wood which is then interlocked with the aluminum to create a sturdy rack. Although the 3 3/8 is the standard racking (bang for your buck for storing wine), we recommend the upgrade to 3 3/4 racking so that more of the new wines can fit in your cellar. You will loose bottle capacity, but your bottles will fit more easily in the racks. If you are placing your unit in the garage, we recommend a higher R factor insulation and upgrade your cooling unit to the Wine Mate 2500. Most of these units are designed with a back exhaust, where you need a minimum of 4 inches from the wall for proper ventilation. We also offer top, side or front exhaust. The unit comes in White Oak for furniture style (also option of many other woods like Cherry, Walnut or Birch) and a Luan Mahogany for the Economy series.
