Pros:  Love the 2 in 1

Cons:  Broke after 2 months I had a conair that split at the barral instead of the handle for flat iron use. After I used it to death I had to get another one and could only find this one. When using the flat iron my hair would always get caught in the curling iron and would pull. It would not stay together to use curling iron and then broke altogether. Really needs help in the quality area.

Pros:  Great curling iron

Cons:  Bad Straightenr The concept of a 2-in-1 iron is really great. I bought mine at Wal-Mart for $15.00 and thought this was a really good deal for two irons. I brought it home to find that the straightener didn't work as well as my regular straightener. I have thin hair and found it hard for the straightener to hold the hair between the straightener. I have to hold it tight and then it causes crimps in my hair. I rairly use the straightener. The curling iron feature is really nice. The iron heats well and curls fast. Another bad featur is when the product is plugged in, it doesn't sit well on the counter. It tips over, which could cause the surface of counters to be burned. The weight of the barrel is too heavy. With some modifications, this product would be exellent and I would have paid a little more for a better product. I am somewhat disappointed but for the price, I guess I can work with it.

Pros:  convience of 2 in 1

Cons:  broke after 5 months use I loved the idea of this curling iron. I was very happy to get it home and minus the usual hair getting caught in screws on the straightner side while straightening it it was excellent. Just a few days ago though I noticed it was opening wider and I was kind of happy b/c I had better control over it and less likely hood of getting my hair caught. When I got to looking closer the part that swivels open for the straightner has loosened itself and now it's just one use away from breaking apart completely. I was very disappointed. I'm trying to find if there is some kind of warranty on it or if the store will exchange me even though it's been 5 months.
