water must be added daily The Venta air purifier is very quiet, and seems to be an effective humidifier judging by the amount of water it takes to maintain the water level during the colder months when my forced air heating system has dried out the house. I like the fact that there are no ?filters?. There is an impressive amount of collected debris that the machine has removed from the air at the time of the two week fluid changing, so I know it has been doing its job. So, if you want to combine humidity with air cleaning, and don?t mind filling the machine with water once a day, I would recommend the Venta.
