Constant Error message We used this ONE time. We fried chicken in it. It worked like a charm. The next time we used it, again to fry chicken, it would give us an error message as soon as you turned it on. After turning it on and off a few times, checking to make sure it was on it's base, trying several different outlets, it would start to heat, but then would ERR again. VERY frustrating. We tried to cook eggs, ERR...beef, ERR. Nothing we did would make it work. The only way Rival will replace or repair it, is if you send it back to them with the receipt or proof of purchase and YOU pay shipping to them and then back to you. There isn't even a phone number in the instruction manual and absolutely no trouble shooting ideas if you do get an ERR message. Great concept for a skillet (digital)...but almost too smart. I don't want this product anymore. Who knows how long it will last if they do replace or repair it. Waste of money. I'll go back to the old fashioned way.
