Product Description
Baby will enjoy putting the objects into the center of these size blocks and pulling them out. The soft foam blocks feature B for baby, D for doggie, S for star, M for moon, A for apple and P for Pig. These letters represent the first sounds babies make. Baby learns object permanence when he or she finds the objects hiding behind the flaps. In addition, baby learns to match objects to the pictures on each block. Peek-A-Boo Blocks encourage development of thinking skills. Beginning at about 9 months, babies are fascinated with objects that appear and disappear, doors that open and close, and things that go in and out of containers. At this age, babies will begin to recognize and memorize the different shapes and pictures on the blocks. Playing games with the blocks helps them practice memorizing things that they see. In addition, stacking the blocks and knocking them down helps babies learn more about spatial relationships, while trying again and again to build a tower helps babies develop persistence.
