Horrible waste of money! This is the most high-maintenance vacuum I have ever purchased!! It has to constantly be cleaned for it to pick ANYTHING up off carpet. And forget about it working on any other kind of surfaces, even though it has a "bare floor" setting!! It doesn't touch the dog hair, rather it collects it all and leaves it in huge clumps on the floor! The customer service rep at Eureka was rude and far from helpful when I called for service just 4 months after buying the vacuum. She informed me that if I had not thoroughly cleaned the vacuum and filter before the repairman came out I would be charged $55 for the service call. So apparently in order to have clean floors with this vacuum it must be thoroughly cleaned each and every day! No thanks! I will never purchase another Eureka again!!
