Pros:  Looks very nice on the counter/cool looking clock!

Cons:  It's a piece of crap It leaks coffee out of the bottom. It's difficult to hold down the button to pour coffee out of the carafe...I have to take the top off of the carafe to pour. The nice looking silver accents are bubbling off and there is water in the clock so it looks terrible.

Not too bad

Pros:  Nice look with chrome features and auto settings

Cons:  Leaks when pouring sometimes and does not stay warm long enough. Love the looks of this on the counter as opposed to makers of similar price points and wanted an automatic set feature for morning brew. Thought the carafe might be an added bonus for table service. The arrows make it harder to serve as they don't always line up and the top leaks frequently. Thermal feature is not very "thermal" for long. You also have to be careful when pouring water into reservoir or it spills out the back from a small hole. We have not had any trouble with it breaking down or water in the clock. Has always made great coffee and do not miss glass decanters at all! Easy to wipe clean too! Worth what we paid.

Pros:  Coffee brewing is consistant and stays hot

Cons:  None Preface: I don't understand why so many people are having problems with this coffee machine. Mine works great and has worked great for several years now. Many remarks I've read such as the unit staying on for an hour - thats normal! Its keeping track of how fresh the coffee is. Read the instruction manual. Leaks? Wow - take it back and get another. This is truly an awesome machine, don't give up so easily. Many times products like this are damaged at the retailers via shipping.

Review: It brews 12 cups of coffee in either Strong or Normal mode. Everything from aesthetics and overall functionality are very easy to use, and well engineered for this machine. One of the biggest perks with this machine is that the coffee stays hot for HOURS. After brewing a pot at 9am in the morning, I have went to work and come home to clean it out and when dumping the coffee out its still steaming hot 8 hours later! WOW! The machine was off the whole time. One thing I noticed is that it does not rely on keeping the coffee hot with a thermal coil on the bottom like many cheap coffee makers. The pot itself is dual-pane aluminum and keeps the coffee steaming hot without it.

Overall I love it, it's consistent and works well.

Pros:  Streamlined design

Cons:  Very poor product I bought this for the name and the design. I like the look, but I hate the product: a 12 cup carafe makes 6 cups of coffee: the remainder of the water boils away (and does damage to my cupboard in the process). The pause feature doesn't work, so coffee pours out the bottom if I try to interrupt the brewing. As a result, the programmable feature is useless. Mr. Coffee let me down. Buy something else.

I really like mine

Pros:  lots of features, cool styling

Cons:  Hmmm ??? I bought mine 2 years ago and it brews a great cup of coffee. I really like the green dial at night and it really has some neat special features - like regualr vs. power brew. I guess it's how hot it gets when brewing.
I like the gold filter and the ability to put a Mr. Coffee chlorine filter on top - and that really works well. Takes out the hard water and chlorine that we have a LOT of here in Arizona.

Pros:  Can make some coffee

Cons:  You have to drink it off the countertop What a mess - it drips and drips - the carafe, the stop drip function.. oh and yes it boils away alot of the water...

Pros:  It keeps the coffee toasty for a really long time

Cons:  the computer in it breaks..... A LOT!!!! I have been through 3 of these coffee pots now. The first worked for about three solid months, then it wouldn't brew a full pot of coffee, Luckily I purchased the 1 year store warranty on it, so I was able to bring it back to the store with no problems, then my second one the computer had a really bad short in it, it wouldn't do the set brew, I'm now on my third in 11 months, IF this one breaks, I will certainly go with something else. I was so sure Mr. Coffee was the brand to go with.

Pros:  Looks Good

Cons:  Plenty I only used the coffee maker, twice a week at the most. You are suppose to be able to pour coffee from the carafe while it is still brewing, but this was one of the first features that failed. The coffee would continue to drip. Next, the coffee stopped coming out hot and even lukewarm. I would have to put a fresh brewed cup in the microwave!!! Forget about the warming plate working. I could see a cheap coffee maker failing so quickly, but this was $69 on sale. I have had three Mr Coffee's fail on me and that will be it for me.

Pros:  Features and price.

Cons:  None. I am flabbergasted at some of the reviews I have read for this coffee maker. I am a coffee purist and I wanted a machine with all the right features; sealed, thermal carafe, no bottom burner, big shower head and flat bottom basket, it's own cleaning mode, etc. The Mr. Coffee was a steal compared to the pricey foreign models. I have owned mine for over two years and it works exactly as advertised. No leaks or problems. Coffee is piping hot for hours and hours. It stays fresh in it's tight sealed thermal carafe. p.s., ALL AD coffee makers make coffee at exactly the same temperature at the same barometric pressure. Water reaches boiling at the same temp., whether you paid $20 or $200 for your AD maker. And no, I do not work for Mr. C., it's just a great machine!
