Pros:  Plenty of power, easy to use

Cons:  Eats up battery chargers, they get hot and burn out This drill is a replacement for one that was recalled due to dangerous battery chargers that could catch fire. With the replacement I have been through 3 in less than 2 years. Each time they last 4-6 months before getting too hot to touch then stop working.

Pros:  Good price, works well

Cons:  Batteries don't last, angled chuck I got this from Skil's replacement program for a previous version that had a battery charger which had a tendency to flame-on.

I liked my original drill, and never had one problem with it. This one requires frequent charging, and the battery doesn't last long. It has plenty of power when it does run.

Also, Skil added this bizarre upward angle to the chuck that my original didn't have, which causes it to be out of alignment with the drill body. So you can't line the drill up on your work, you have to offset it, which can be an issue if you're working in tight quarters. I find this to be very frustrating.

If you decide to get one of these drills, consider a second battery (Model 120BAT), and a stand charger (Model 92991).
