Pros:  Stainless, Immersable, Cleans up well

Cons:  Last one only lasted 30 years Our last Farberware skillet lasted 30 years and the controller burned out. I was going to have it repaired but the wife suggested we buy a new one. This new unit doesn't seem as heavy as our old one but seems to be quite solid. On the down side the new one doesn't have a high dome but the old dome fits well on this new unit. It heats up quickly and evenly, Works great and the high grade stainless steel cleans up quickly. We love it!!!

Pros:  Can cook anything in it

Cons:  none The skillet I own is now 43 years old. It was a gift to my mother on her 25th wedding anniversary. The skillet has a high dome and the reason my mother wanted it. Skittet still in working order but the control unit has a problem as the prongs have broken and need a new control. Do not want to buy a new skillet as this has too many memories attached to it. Can someone help me with this?
