Pros:  spinning brushes, easy empty and fill

Cons:  not self heating have to add hot water I have only used this product twice but I am very impressed with its cleaning power. Since we rent, there were old stains from past tenants that I thought would never come out, especially because the landlord has a professional carpet service clean the carpets before new tenants move in. Well, I have to say 99% of the stains are gone including the old ones we did not make. The carpets look practically new. I can only attribute it to the spinning brushes. Although they did not restore the original texture of the carpet, they did however add some and I am not embarrassed of my carpets anymore!! AND it was cheaper that most other cleaners I had priced!

Pros:  It does a good job most of the time

Cons:  leaves streaks on the carpet I really like this steam cleaner, but I have found after using it alot that is tends to leave streaks on the carpets. It does not evenly apply the cleaning solution and no matter how much I go over the same areas, it just does not seem to clean evenly.

I use the recomended steam cleaner carpet cleaner, and as it does do a good job about 75% of the time, it just seems to not do as good a job as it is supposed to.

We found that it was loosing sucction through the plastic hose that sends the water to and from the cleaner and dirty water compartments. It has ripped and we think it's because everytime you press the handle release button, it causes the hose to wear.

Hope that makes sense.

This tool is an important tool in keeping our house clean and it was not a cheap tool. If whoever reads this review has any good news for us as far as prolonging the usefullness of this steam cleaner, we would surely appreciate.

Thanks and have a very nice holiday time this year.
