Bags are hard to find in stores. I get them online without problem, though. I can't say enough good things about this vacuum. I received it as a gift last Christmas. My cousin helped me vacuum once and went out and bought her own!

Power nozzle bulkier, cord is shorter than previous models, no unpleasant smells with pet bags I bought this vacuum because of the Electrolux's history of making a decent vacuum. The controls are easy to use located on the handle. The vacuum is a bit noisey in the powerhead but it is probably due to the power of the brush motor. This is the absolute strongest brush motor i've used as well as the strongest suction. The powerhead itself is a bit on the bulky side and can be a bit cumbersome cleaning under cabinets and furniture that other power heads fit in with ease. It could have a few more height settings but I can live with the three it does have. The retractable cord is better than previous models by far but the cord is about 5 feet shorter and in my case causes me to have to replug. The canister itself pulls behind with ease. Overall I would give this vacuum an 8 out of 10 not knowing yet how it will hold up with time.

no stores within 40 miles that carry the anti-odor bags. There is no storage compartment for power tools, except for the duster brush and crevice tool which is stored in the handle. Just bought an Electrolux Oxygen 3 Ultra cannister vacuum at Lowes today. It was easy to put together and worked like a charm. The lightweight vacuum was quiet, which was a major factor in my decision to buy it. I hate noisy vacuums and this one was much quieter than my former Kenmore model. Although it is quieter, it did an excellent job at cleaning in a very short time. I appreciate many features that are in this little vacuum. The anti-odor bags not only take away the dirt, but don't leave any odors behind. The swivel in the carpet sweeper also make it easy to maneuver around corners which the Kenmore model did not. Since I have a very small apartment, I needed something smaller to move with ease around my obstacle course, and again it was not cumbersome in the least. I am not one to buy a product arbitrarily when shopping, as I always weigh all the criteria carefully, and do my leg work comparing prices and keep mental notes on the customer reviews before finalizing any purchases. I do not agree with other customers about the hose, which some said was not as sturdy. It was just as sturdy as any other cannister vacuum that I handled in stores and tested. I also like the automatic carpet level adjusting feature that allows me to change from carpets to bare floors. I have never owned a vacuum with an automatic indicator light that turns on when it is time to change the bag and a hepa filter light that indicates when the hepa filter needs changing; two additional features that stood out above the other vacuums. And last but not least the light on the carpet sweeper is just another feature that I wanted a vacuum cleaner to have onboard. The only draw back in this vacuum that I see is not being run to a local store to purchase anti-odor bags within a 40 mile radius from home. But if you want an anti-odor bag, all you have to do is order online or call their 800 number located in the owner's manual. All in all, I would have to say I am one happy camper, and would highly recommend this vacuum for anyone who enjoys a cleaner environment with a vacuum that provides efficiency, ease of movement and practicality all rolled in one.
