Apple iPhone 3G 16GB (Black) Cell Phone

Product Description

iPhone combines three products - a revolutionary mobile phone, a widescreen iPod with touch controls, and a breakthrough Internet communications device with desktop-class email, web browsing, maps, and searching - into one small and lightweight handheld device. iPhone also introduces an entirely new user interface based on a large multi-touch display and pioneering new software, letting you control everything with just your fingers. So it ushers in an era of software power and sophistication never before seen in a mobile device, completely redefining what you can do on a mobile phone.

Cons:  The iPhone 3G continues to lack some basic features that are available on even the simplest cell phone. Pros:  Technology, ease of use, iTunes, catalogs, GPS, etc etc

Cons:  Morons who expect too much What's not to like about an Apple computer that fits into your pocket?

Seems like everyone with a chip is expecting this menace to technology to have 80GB of RAM, connect to the internet at 10mb, and come standard with a force field. Then there's the issue of battery life. When was the last time you were able to unplug your laptop for 4 hours, surf the net, and oh ya - talk on it?!

Seriously folks...chill out and give credit to the product that catapulted wireless capabilities to the next level.

I love being able to check email without having to pay wireless "hot spot" fees at airports, hotels, etc. Download my favorite songs and with the swipe of a finger, I'm browsing my music catalog. The visual voicemail and GPS service are awesome too. Also like that if there's an enhancement or patch for the iphone, most of the time it can be downloaded online straight into your phone. Bonus!

Can I assume all the i-haters have noticed the other companies (LG, Samsung, etc) fall quickly and shamelessly in line with iphone?

Just remember the iphone when your kids start taking phone calls from their Oakley Thumps, while checking their facebook profiles from the inside of their polarized-LCD lenses.

Maybe they'll be Apple i-Oakleys...hmmm? You'll probably bash them for some ignorant and/or misinformed reason too, eh? See "Cons" above

Pros:  EVERY thing

Cons:  Battery Life and or no replacement option, no pic mess, flash for cam... This phone ROCKS its soooo hard to put down... I end up having to charge it 2 or 3 times a day. I wish you could replace the battery. since it does not have that option i have bought several chargers/car,home..so that i don't run on E... This phone has so many apps to toy around with.. it makes the phone soo fun.. its worth every penny I paid for it. I can't wait till they come out with the next one. I do miss pic texting but o well you get over it quick..

Pros:  Ridiculously easy to use, downloadable, apps and uptates, on, and on.

Cons:  Can't receive pictures from another phone or forward emails. First off, love the phone. All the people knocking this phone crack me up. Canuck called it on the money. I would have to carry my laptop with me to get anymore features than this phone has. This is the first Apple product I have owned so I was sceptical. No folders to figure out where stuff is stored, no matter what you're doing on the phone, if you leave and come back to that app all the info or words are right where you left them. If there's something wrong or new with the phone, download the upgrade in 30 seconds! It's that easy. Change my two cons and I'd own the phone forever.

The iPhone 3G-A Technological Failure

Pros:  best touchscreen, apps, design

Cons:  lack of some features, no secondary camera Every time you hear about the iPhone 3G, you hear only good thing about it, with some minor exceptions, but if take a closer look, you'll see that the iPhone 3G, which is considered by many the greatest gadget of 2008, has some big problems that shouldn't exist at a smartphone.
The iPhone 3G is apparently dedicated to the internet-addicted people, that need YouTube, blogs and e-mail everywhere they go. Don't get me wrong, the iPhone is good at all of this, but if it has 3G, why shouldn't it have a secondary camera, like most other 3G devices? More, you can't use the phone as a modem.
Well, maybe you don't use a secondary camera, or the phone as a modem so often, but sometimes you might want to make films with your phone (and post them to YouTube) or use the phone as voice recorder.
The iPhone 3G also has some hardware problems, although the Samsung processor is very good, the 3G receiver some problems. Apparently, Apple selected a cheap 3G receiver and some costumers experience loss of signal.
The Conclusion? The iPhone 3G is for those that think that design is the most important thing to a phone, and reduced functionality is not such a big drawback.
Note: if you want design and features, buy a HTC Touch Diamond.

Pros:  3g network, Wifi, Sleek sexy design, user friendly.

Cons:  No zoom in or out on camera, no video recorder This phone is great, you will definitely love it, even more now with the affordable price. I can't keep my hands off of it. Its just like have a pc in your pocket. Best advice is to get a car charger and get an extended insurance plan. Your service provider does not offer insurance on the phone. MUST HAVE!!
