Pros:
great style and new features |
Cons:
battery life , no file support saved to device word, excell, powerpoint , only 16 gig wish it was 32 gig The new style of the 3g version is different the vrsion in white is a throwback to the original white Ipods The applications and the new support for Exchange Email will gain market share to the Blackberry customers reluctant due to corporate support Being a new to the Iphone I am Glad I waited a year for the second generation phone , I wish apple would have improved the battery life , megapixel count , video recording capabilities , file storage , external microsd card support , and sreen facing camera for video conferencing using the 3g network that is what it was designed for . Overall I am impressed to have gotten my hands on a new Iphone 3g white on the first day -- Apple next year sell the phones online on launch day activated to users accounts already and just ship them to the end user directly please have staggered releases of future iphones 2 to 3 days apart to solve over usage of networks

Pros:
so many features, never wanted to put it down |
| Cons:
dropped calls, black out regularly, try to answer & go to voicemail I was so excited to get this phone and when Ifinally got it I loved all the bells and whistle but Apple skipped over the basics. I rarely saw 3G and when I was on the 3G network still received lots of call failure when trying to dial out. The phone blacks out on a regular basis and has to be reset constantly. I would accept an incoming phone call and it would still go to voicemail. I went to the apple store to see if i just received a bad phone and two other people were sitting next to me with the same problems. Luckily this all happen within my 30 days so i was able to switch with the advice of the people sitting next to me who haved had the phone for awhile and had switched out their phones at apple for the second and third times. My advice wait for Apple Iphone 4 or 5G.

Pros:
Cool features and applications - GPS - Shazam - Movies - exchange server sync |
| Cons:
Rarely got a 3G signal and had to keep the phone switched to Edge to work. Unable to send photos via text. No stylus keyboard hard to use. I loved all of the gadgets and applications this phone had to offer. However, I was rarely able to get a 3G signal and had to keep the phone switched to EDGE in order to get a signal and not drop calls. Battery life sucked - it drained faster than a teenager syphoning beer from a keg stand. The phone touchkeyboard was difficult to use after having a full QWERTY keyboard on my old Nokia, if only it came with a stylus or slide out keyboard. Also, sending photos via MMS was not possible. Though I have been told there is an application for this. The ringer was never loud enough unless the phone was right under my nose. I actually returned the iphone and went back to my old Nokia 6822. I suspect in another year or two I will go back to an improved version of the iphone.

Pros:
Apps, Browsing, e-mail all good |

Cons:
Bluetooth connect buzz, low volume, no movie mode I have a Lexus RX400H, when making a call using bluetooth through Lexus, a very loud 2 second BUZZ comes on, it's awful. Then the volume from the called person is much lower than on my Motorola phone. The Bluetooth through Lexus cars was reported a year ago by Lexus, why hasn't it been fixed? Why no movie mode? I can record hundreds of minutes on my Razr2 V9 with 2-GB MicroSD plugged in, but can't record any movies on iPhone 3G with 16 GB. Call forwarding selections are limited. If you use simultaneous ringing (feature on some telephone services) and the iPhone is off or out of range, none of the other lines will ring because you cannot setup call forwarding to a phone that doesn't answer instantly. AT&T voice mail grabs the line, rendering all the other lines useless. On the Motorola phone, I can setup the forwarding to a 2nd line I have with answering machine that doesn't answer immediately, so other phones on the ringing list will ring long enough to get answered. AT&T supports this feature, but iPhone hasn't made it one of the selectible options. This, for me, is a problem when including the iPhone in the list of lines that are ringing simultaneously (which is a great feature). As a cell phone, one would expect features at least as good as other phones, but sad to say, the iPhone is a great entertainment device, but as a cell phone, leaves a LOT to be desired. It's clearly not better than other cell phones, and actually has severe limitations in my view. And why no movie mode? What's up with that? Fix the phone. PS: I'm running the latest 2.1 OS in the phone. They blamed AT&T for dropped calls, but the 2.1 clams to have fixed this. Hmmm. Who's fault was the dropped calls if fixing iPhone OS fixes the problem?

| Cons:
now if said nothing here you gotta be some stupid kid that had your parents get you the phone.. this phone sucks!!!!! ok where do i start i guess by saying this phone sucks, the camera is 2mp but no zoom, no video clips, no flash, but the camera is the least bit of problems. apple claims it has MMS not everybody has an iphone u cant send MMS or picture message to a cell # only to email add. than to receive an MMS u have write down a user name an password just to look at a pic that is plan stupid!! no copy and past [gay] it doesn't compare to a black berry or windows phone in any way. just a better music and video player thats it! keyboard suck cant turn it side ways [gay]... i was so excited to get this phone a month an a half into it and i hate it already!! i can keep going on an on about everything that is bad but i'm going to stop there they claim the phone is cheaper but they dont tell u ur first bill will be close to 300 dollars monthly plan on these phones is outrages!!! bottom line they suck!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pros:
Internet Browser |
| Cons:
Drops calls when it has full service Overall the iPhone is an ipod that you can make emergency calls on if you need to. I have a blackberry as well so when I iPhone doesnt work I just use my curve. It is annoying that it drops calls and then calls the person back for me. The battery life is awful so you need an extra charger. It's good to have as long as you have another phone for when it starts acting up.

Pros:
Fun Applications, good internet access |
| Cons:
battery drains so fast i carry my charger everywhere, 70% of my calls fail Like i said, I love this phone for the fun things I can do with it. It has great apps to download and keep busy with, and I like i can keep in touch via email and IM. I HATE that the phone part of it blows, and thats even AFTER the patch they put out for it. I show bars yet my call wont go out, or it fails, literally between 70-80% on the first try. I now never call my husband, i know i am better off trying to text. The phone is completely unreliable and i get so frustrated i go on angry rants about how much i paid for a 'phone' that is more of a toy than anything else. The battery life is horrendous, and i also literally have to carry my charger everywhere because it drains so fast. When i am with my husbandm i just ask to use his phone to make a call, how bad is that.
