Scan quality is horrible I purchased this unit because I travel quite a bit and needed a unit to scan receipts on the road. I also needed to make scans of photos. The OCR software works pretty well and requires a minimum of corrections compared to other OCR software I've used. The quality of the photo scans is horrible. Entire lines (one pixel wide)are missing also there are several streaks in the files. A calibration sheet and cleaning sheet are supplied, but several passes with those have made no improvements. Don't waste your money on these units.
