must have clean hands always this is my second mac. until about two years ago, when my brother handed down his old iBook to me, i stayed away from macs. i thought they were too pricey and difficult to use. i was wrong on both counts.
the benefit and joys of owning and using a mac make it a wise investment, value for my money. it has speed, memory space and user-friendly applications.
switching to mac's operating system while initially daunting is quite exciting and extremely manageable. plus, the support from apple makes you feel like you have an in-house technician who is available 24/7. i love to experiment with it and i sometimes do stupid things which seemingly affect it's performance. luckily, the technical support on-line is plentiful while they give prompt replies to specific questions.

Cons:
gets dirty quickly This is my first Mac and I was a bit shocked at how fast and easy starting it the first time was. Didn't have to go through a long list of setups like XP or Vista.
Battery life is amazing (up to four hrs or more doing word applications, listening to music and surfing at the same time, WITH the wireless switched on). Not a good machine for gaming or heavy graphics work, because of the small screen and integrated graphics.
The major problem with this is that even though the white colour is very cool and chic, it does tend to look dirty from finger-print smudges. I work as a journalist so newspaper ink is a bother with this machine.
This laptop was beyond my expectations and I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO PC.

Cons:
none This is the ultimate machine for experienced and novice apple users. The Operating system, MAC OS 10,Leopard, has excellent features and is very intuitive. The processor works at blazing speeds and this is not a bad machine to look at... The Macbook packs well in a business case or a backpack and is adaptable to the office, home or school. I enjoy the fact that a coworker can't connect to our office using Windows Vista. I was able to print and do other office tasks by just plugging my MACbook.
I highly recommend this product. By the way this is my third MAC.
