Pros:  It is a stylish and slim phone and the battery life is decent

Cons:  The outer paint chips, it has a malfunction, and a delayed touch screen. This is an absolutely horrible phone! I first got my phone in November for a birthday present and loved it. It was an eye appealing phone and I was excited to try it out. This was a fabulous phone for about five months, soon after that I started experiencing a problem. When I attempted to type over four characters of text the whole phone would freeze up. The buttons would freeze up as well, not allowing me to turn it off the proper way, resulting in my having to remove the battery. I did this several times and it still would not work. I decided to leave me battery out for overnight and I replaced it in the morning and everything was fine and I thought nothing else of it. About three months later the same problem appeared. Out of frustration I took it to the Verizon store and they replaced it, telling me it was a common issue with this phone. Delighted with my new phone I took it home. Now approximately three weeks later the same problem occurred yet again!! I was very upset by this and took the battery out and when I went to replace it and turn it on nothing happened. I was very angry at this and thought I might plug it in a try it. Then the words charge complete appeared so I turned it on. It started up like everything was fine and then when it went to the home screen the touch screen buttons flickered and the whole phone shut off. I decided I had enough of this phone and called the local Verizon store. They told me that they couldn't do anything and for a new model I would need to contact the Verizon direct. I called them and they told me that I could only get another Venus and I would need to contact LG for a replacement of an entirely new phone. I have experienced many unpleasant encounters with LG phones therefore I am not going to call LG and I will just get my third Venus phone in eight months. So in conclusion I would strongly recommend NOT purchasing this phone. It is a faulty product that should be taken off the market!!!

Pros:  Its sleek and stylish and has tons of features.

Cons:  at times the touch screen is a little slow I currently own a LG Venus. It a big upgrade from my last phone which was a razr. This phone is the best phone ever. my friends are so jealous of me and always joke aroud sayin they gone steal it. it is sleek and stylish and features out of this world. when you touch the screen it vibrates a little bit which is a big help so i know if i actully pressed a button. when you slide it up it doesnt hav just 2 function butons like on the razr it has a menu button in the middle surrounded by 4 that say Message All calls contacts and a shortcut key tha lets you set 4 shortcurs to the things you do most.
its mp3 player is awesome. now i hav only a couple songs on their cuz i need a memory card. 1 of the only things i dont like is that you have to buy speacial made head phones from verizon wireless. but thats not my phones fault. it is verizons. other than that you should definetly purchase this phone. it is defietly worth the money(nut then again i didnt buy it!!) :)

Pros:  most everything

Cons:  weak battery, not so cool camera the unit works well in hard to reach places. I am a volunter deputy for my county, and find this phone works well with my patrol duties. I have a cheap but excellent case for it that fits ny duty belt as well as my regular belts. My only real complaints are the battery life and the camera. No flash , VERY slow operating speed (when you think you have the photo, you do not; you need to wait another second). You seldom get what you think you got. Should be 100% better for the price one pays for this phone. The mp3 player is very good. I have no complaints at all.As a phone, it is very good. The touch screen a bit slow, but I do not mind. The responce to touch sometimes does not react. So, I keep looking for firm-ware up-grade to fix these problems. LG will not talk to you; you have to go back to Verison. The speaker phone is very reasonable; loud and clear.Bluetooth worked well using the plantronics 855 stero unit, I just could not get use to the unit stuck in my ear all the time.I do not know how strong the unit is to abuse. I am not a phone dropper, even on duty. I take care of my equipment since my life may depend on it.Looking at all these things, I still give the phone a 9 out of 10
