network warning to frequent, need manual overide I found trend micro software to be priced below others, very easy to load and operate. It is a good, basic, anti virus & firewall system. It scans quickly and automatically takes care of spyware and adware when found. I am pretty confident it will also remove virus threats as well feel protected against intrusions while online. I reviewed other anti virus software costing more money offering the same features as trend micro. I decided based on price and taking media reviews into account that this product would be well worth the price for the security it would and does provide me as a consumer.

Incompatible with Fujitsu T-series Tablet PCs, Slows down system resources to a crawl, blue screen of death! I made multiple attempts to fix this installation and contacted Trend for support. They had me send a copy of my system configuration, but never responded after that. I tried calling two more times and they just gave up. Unfortunately the time lost troubleshooting and going without protection for months makes this a very poor choice in my opinion. I used this in a business environment, and it damaged three of my computers, all Fujitsu T-series tablet PCs.

crashed my computer and it has never been the same i downloaded trend micro to my laptop which has vista and it caused my computer to crash andi had to use the restore disk and wipe the hard drive in order to fix it thanks alot trend micro

Cons:
when you get a problem most of the staff didnt know what they were doing Its fairly intuitive. It takes command and remains in charge of the system.
I was alarmed by how tenaciously it held onto my computer, even after I had taken it off my system. It took 5 different case workers down at TrendMicro to attempt its removal before I finally got a good good one. She solved the problem instantly while I was ready to throw away my new hard drive.
