Sony Walkman NWZ-S618F Black Digital Media Player

Product Description

A standard user interface that makes it easy to enjoy songs, videos or pictures. For crystal-clear image quality, the video players have a large Quarter Video Graphics Array (QVGA) LCD screen that displays video at 30 frames per second. QVGA is a display mode for small screens in which the resolution is 320 pixels vertically by 240 pixels horizontally.

The battery life allows up to eight hours of video playback for the NWZ-A810 series and nine-and-a-half hours for the NWZ-S610 series. The battery also provides up to 33 hours of music playback for both series.

The players support security-enhanced Windows Media Audio (WMA), as well as non-secure AAC and MP3 music formats, plus JPEG files for photos, in addition to the AVC (H.264/AVC) Baseline Profile and MPEG-4 video codecs.

Users can download movie trailers, music videos, podcasts and video clips from the Internet and use readily-available shareware to convert the clips for use with the Walkman video players.

Pros:  Nothing

Cons:  Everything Please I beg of you DO NOT BUY THIS MP3.
Although on paper this looks like a good product and and basically is an i pod nano without the added price it is utterly useless. I have tried for 2 weeks to download anything onto it, but to no avail, the instructions do no good. I must admit i did down load 2 songs after much frustration (this was about 1 week in) but if i wanted to download another song, i had to reformat the mp3 and i still could not download the new songs i wanted. I have wasted over £100 on this product (yes as you have guessed, i am from England) and i feel like an idiot. The mp3 is exempt from the 16 day return thingy and i feel like smashing it against a wall. the fact that its over £100 is stopping me. Please save yourself the headache and your cash. It simply is not worth it

Pros:  VERY GREAT! Works beautifully, bought at Wal-mart for much cheaper than listed above! Great quality and function! Easy to download using Windows Medai Player 9! I have definetely enjoyed using it and will for awhile!

Cons:  Had trouble downloading some pictures, haven't learned how to download movies yet. Otherwise, great product! It doesn't have the extra features like radio or recording but great still! I definetely would reccomend this product! I have one and love it! I easily downloaded all of my songs using Windows Media Player. Though it doesn't have the extra features like FM Radio and recordings, it definetely serves its purpose for just a general music player. No problems with the actual player, just downloading pictures and movies using Windows Media. Wonderful product, no regrets! Also, a hint of advice: I bought this at Walmart for I think around $80 ??? at Christmas time, not at a media store, which is more expensive. Don't waste your money at another store, just go to Wal-Mart. Same quality, lesser price!
