Pros:
Something new, looks great, worth the money, super thin. |

|
|
Cons:
The back is easily scratchable, more likely for you to get jacked I'm 17 years old and I just bought the iPod Touch 8 gig. It is my 2nd iPod because the first one I bought was the Mini 3 years ago. What I gotta say is that it's amazing and well worth the money. You can go to internet, watch Youtube vids, etc. It also looks great. I bought the invisibleSHIELD, which is $25, for it to prevent it from getting scratches since the chrome back of the Touch can be easily scratched. I have to make sure I don't show it off or I'm going to be robbed. =)
Other than that, Apple has made another great product.

Very Thin
Cons:
Chrome back (SRATCHES EASY!)

Cons:
Battery Life, Fingerprints Bought this for myself for Christmas, thought I should post a review for someone over 40! I have a one year old shuffle which I really like, but was kind of tired of not having a display. I researched iPods for a while, and decided on the 8 gig touch for several reasons: The ease of use of iTunes, WiFi (that's really nice - no service contract vs. the phone), the widescreen display when you flip it around (love that and couldn't imagine myself ever watching video on the smaller screen). The 8 costs less that the 16, and you can manage what you put on it - remember you don't have to put everything you have on it! Downsides - I noticed that you need to turn iPod off when you are not using it to help save the battery (battery only lasted 24 hours in sleep mode - I thought it was off!) and I don't like getting fingerprints on the touchscreen, but what are you going to do about that? I just clean it when it bugs me. It's taking me a little while to learn to use the WiFi because I've never been a big texter, but I'm getting the hang of it! I read reviews and bought a case with it, so it is protected from accidental drops and won't get scratched on the back. All in all this is the best new cool toy I've bought for myself in quite a while. I would recommend it to anyone it doesn't feel like they have to carry around their whole iTunes library and is fine with a separate phone.

Pros:

Cons:
no flash support This i pod completely blows away all other MP3 players. Apple knows how to make a quality product and it shows in this product. I paid for the 2.0 upgrade and the apps from the i tunes store are amazing and getting better. I think every one should have an i pod touch as this i pod ROCKS!!!!

Pros:
Good value, great portability, and outstanding features |
|
|

Cons:
Battery could be better, iPod earphones still suck! I purchased my iPod Touch in March with the software update, and recently just updated it with the 2.0 firmware. The iPod Touch is a well-valued music player that has some excellent outstanding features. The cover flow is a nice feature, and I love the arrangement of the music section. You can simply scroll through songs, albums, genres, artists, and composers, as well as podcasts. I do miss the click wheel, but the ease of the Touch screen is a nice step up. *If you're thinking about getting the 8GB, and worried about space, just think about everything you have. My music library is never more than 400 songs, and is constantly chaning, so it is not extremely large or expansive. I have about 4 videos, that most I'll have at one time is about 8, and right now I have just a couple photos. It just depends on how much you want to keep. So for me the 8GB is just perfect. Video and photo features are nice, though I don't have much of either. Watching videos on landscape mode is a thing of beauty though, the widescreen is nice to watch on while on-the-go. You can save photos from emails received, or sync them easily. What I'm really loving about the iPod Touch is the new App store. After paying a fee of $9.99 you can download a lot of different applications that can range from entertaining to social networking to pure silliness. The App store is really something you need to check out for yourself, it is so hard to rave about it under a 4,000 word max! But the App store is one the best features of the iTouch. You get the "perks" of the iPhone without the phone, in a sense. The Safari + YouTube buttons of the iPod Touch are nice features as well. When you have WiFi connection, you can easily scroll through sites, check out videos, and countless other things. The sound quality of the earphones still isn't that great. I hope they improve, but I recommend upgrading to Bose earphones. Much better. Battery life can get sucked if you put the backlight on full blast, and use Safari or other WiFi applications for a long while. But it really depends on what you do with your iPod. Overall, it is clear that I like the iPod Touch. There are some improvements that could be made, but I love the iPod's features and it versatility.

Pros:
built in wifi, excellent battery life, syncs easily, great apps |
|
|
|
Cons:
price, support products are expensive, small hard drive I got my ipod touch free when i bought my macbook. i have had it for about 4 months and i thoroughly enjoy it. The itouch is an excellent buy and here is why: PROS: the built in internet is surprisingly fast. having wifi on your media player is awesome. i have been on facebook and email my girlfriend plenty with it. trust me. The battery life is also exceptional. It charges faster than most and also holds its charge better than most. (mines lasted 3 days)double win there. Next, the ipod itouch is compatible with windows and mac. It syncs with ease on both systems. Last of all, the Apps. the itouch already comes w/ useful apps to begin with.(i.e calendar, contacts, about same as iphone) I recently 'jailbroke' my itouch so now i have access to even more apps. Their useful, effective and easy to use CONS: The only real con for most people is the money factor. The Ipod touch is probably to expensive for you cheap folks. but if you have the cash or are going to get a media player, definitely get the Itouch. Oh and the hard drive issue isnt that big of deal. 8g is plenty for music (the videos will kill you though) and even if you need more: you can access your computers itunes from your itouch. -and who gives a crap if the back of your itouch scratches?!? so forget that and Overall is ----- Definite Buy
