Great so far

Pros:  Everything

Cons:  A little pricey I was lucky enough to get a great deal on mine (saved over $700) but I otherwise would not have spent so much $$ on this or any laptop. This shipped very quickly (9 days after ordering). So far the comp runs great, and it seems very Mac-like in terms of the monitor, keyboard, ports, etc. I was disappointed at first that it lacked the usual amount of ports, but then realized that I don't need the traditional monitor and printer ports anymore anyway. This has so many little features too, I'm still discovering new things!

Good, but some issues

Pros:  Fast, light, and decent battery life

Cons:  Slot loading CD issues This is a very decent notebook computer, its light, strong processor, and a decent battery life, especially considering that its a powerhouse as far as portables go. The real big problem is the slot loading CD, it doesn't have a manual release for it, so if the CD drive dies with your CD in it, you'll have to take it to the shop just to get it out. Also most players will have a safety bar once a CD is put in to prevent another CD from being placed inside. This doesn't have one. And for all of the tech savvy people out there, don't even try to take the keyboard off. The hinges break if you look at them funny. In fact the parts that you can easily replace are the RAM and the Hard Drive. Other than those irks, it is a powerful notebook, and is perfect for college students and people on the go.

Pros:  The whole thing.

Cons:  Collects fingerprints like crazy.... I bought one the day it came out on the market. Took 2 weeks to get here. Its really great. I know a lot of people complain about windows vista, but this is the first time i am exposed to it and i love it!! If you are thinking on getting it, do it...you wont regret it. Also the battery life is also pretty good...i dont know why people are having such a hard time with it.

Two months in and waiting for 3rd replacement

Pros:  Light weight,fast processor

Cons:  poor fit and finish, unreliable I purchased this computer in August and am already waiting for a 3rd replacement. The first one had a poor fit and finish that was unacceptable for a computer in this price range. The second one, which I received only a month and a half ago already has a dead mother board and won't even turn on. Though Dell's customer support is decent, they need to work on making a product that does not fail within a month and a half of ownership. I'd recommend that people wait for the second generation of this laptop, so that the manufacturer can work out the errors in their process

Pros:  so light wight media remote resonable prize

Cons:  not haveing a powerfull graphic adaptor if you are kind of person which travels a lot and want to have all its entertainment all together that's a laptop you can think of buying . its even lighter than you imagine you cant barely feel the wight of this in your bag and its small and easy to take every were with you this is the main advantage that i can consider about this one and other's like a media remote more powerful than what you imagine 4xusb bluray disk 3 colors media home key and ...... if it had a more powerful graphic adaptor it would be the best choice for everyone

Pros:  lightweight, great monitor, beautiful appearance, excellent power, keyboard controls,

Cons:  price to be considered, stickers on outside seem misplaced due to price dell is yet to contact me on fixing that, Bought this machine for my law school, and it is truly the most powerful machine in the entire classroom, its light and is a perfect size. Excellent speed, best laptop ive seen.

As said above it has "XPS" Stickers on the front which seem kinda cheap as my machine was close to $3000, and they were pealing off and dell hasnt contacted me about sending new ones.

Dell costumer care is a myth

Pros:  It's not cheap

Cons:  Hard drive will break down sooner than you think Dell sales services made a mistake when I bought my laptop. Instead of having my computer in one week, I had to wait 2 and spend hours on the phone to repair their mistake.
The worse was yet to come. My hard drive broke after 50 days, I lost all my data and dell XPS costumer care refuses to help me pay for my data recovery. It also took them 12 days to send me another equivalent hard drive. They told me that if they payed for data recovery of every hard drive that brook, they would lose money! As I said in the title don't count on dell costumer care, it's a myth, even for the higher end XPS products. Those are expensive computers, it is not normal that they break down so soon. Maybe that is just bad luck, but their disorganized services and their unwillingness to help a costumer they really damaged with their bad piece of hardware just shows that Dell is not a company one should trust.
