Pros:  Price, fast response time, good contrast ratio.

Cons:  Colors not vibrant, questionable manufaturing quality. I purchased this monitor this morning and hooked it up. I played around with all the settings and could not, no matter what, get any kind of really good color. I tried preset after preset and wizard after wizard, nothing. Trust me, I did my very best to try every possible thing I could to get the picture to look right but nothing worked.

The colors seem sort of washed out and if you look at the monitor from a certain angle, I see this odd pink like tinge to it.

The stand was crooked out of the box and the screen had a dead pixel. I also noticed that the seams on the monitor where the two main plastic bezel peices come together was off and sticking up on opposite sides.

I'm a fan of LG, I have a great 32inch high Def TV from LG.

I would buy another LG product, but not a monitor. There were too many things wrong with this monitor out of the box.

Pros:  Very sharp crisp screen, easy to set up. Base rotates almost a full 360 degrees.

Cons:  No DVI cable. Only D-sub and Analog inputs. Screen doesn't rotate. I was very hesitant to buy any LCD monitor. I heard stories of blurred video and games. I was using an old 19" CRT NEC FE950+ that worked very well, but took up my entire desk. I made sure I went with a very fast response time and do not regret it. 2ms is outstanding, and playing 3D games like prey, HL2, CS:S, I figured I would see lots of blurs with the quick moves you have to make sometimes. Nothing. It seems to handle refreshing the screen so well that I don't miss my old CRT at all. The colors look great, the resolution is great. It actually even displays lower resolutions fairly well, another concern of mine about LCDs.

I would definitely recommend this monitor to any gamer or just any person who wants a great looking monitor that will never let you down.
