Cons:
Buttons feel fragile, OSD is a bit cumbersome Originally I had visited some local retailers to see Viewsonic widescreens LCDs in action. While those were okay, they were made to look dark and dull by a nearby screen from HP: The w2007. After some limited research (apparently this product is very new and not many reviews have been completed) I finally took a chance and bought one and have been pleased ever since. The image is bright. BRIGHT. I mean if you stare at a white screen you might get a light tan style of bright. Colors are also incredibly vivid. Also note that this screen has a glossy coating rather than matte. This originally worried me due to reflections, but has not been a major issue thus far. Consider your environment in terms of lighting before buying one of these - A very bright room will cause nasty reflections when darker images are on the screen. The buttons on the monitor feel fragile and the on-screen menus are a bit cumbersome to navigate. This is a pretty minor nitpick since I rarely use the buttons or menus. Mine also came with a DVI cable. I've seen some mentions of these shipping without these cables, but mine did come with one. Overall an excellent monitor. $280 isn't bad for the level of quality and HDCP support!
