Pros:  Picture quality, this set has some of the best color outthere.

Cons:  The bright edge, would have liked a dull trim. This is the first LCD or plasma for us, but I can tell you it will not the be the last. We waited for a while until the price of larger LCD dropped. We paid $2,000 for this set at CompUSA.

Pros:  Price

Cons:  None We purchased our Samsung DLP at a military base which was great because we had no taxes (cost was over($2000) and we also got a 10% discount because it was an initial credit card purchase. I realize not everyone will have access to the discounts but this is a great t.v. and we would have purchased it otherwise. We initially saw it in Best Buy and were considering it but couldn't pass it up with the discounts. We got it based on the recommendation of the Best Buy repair guys after another brand that we had purchased a year ago had a light engine that was going out. the warranty work was too much for repair which led to the purchase of the 52" Samsung and later the 61". We love them both and would highly recommend them.

Pros:  ease of set up, operation, Great picture

Cons:  Can't think of one right now I was at a local appliance store that had the Samsung sitting right next to a Sony. the Samsung had a better Picture and the what sold me was ease of use Sony is to technical, also. more inputs and outputs then Sony and alot more versital, in video and Audio inputs you can be more creative. then price comparison. I was sold on Samsung no regrets none Thank You John
