Cons:
heavy, no more Symbian S80 This laptop...I mean Nokia E90 Communicator is THE fastest thing that can be carried around inside your pocket EVER made!!! It has dual CPUs each 330Mhz: one for applications and one for telephony. It has 128Mb of RAM out of which 80MB useable memory! (the N95 has 64 Mb RAM and 20Mb useable memory) The screen resolution is a never-seen-before: 800x352 - 800! it's just like my DELL's resolution(1280x"800"). The keyboard is backlit (not even my DELL can do that). It has vibration (hurray) and both inside and out are Symbian based but unfortunately S60 not S80 like it used to be which has some drawbacks: the phonebook search engine isn't as deep: it only searched for 1st and last names not companies, addresses, etc like it used to. Files are not easily managed like for instance you cannot create an excel file in the desktop like the 9300. Other than that, it has a 3.2M camera, a 1500MA battery, a 2.5mm audio jack - not a 3.5mm :( - and a terrific design. But it's heavy - lighter than the 9500 but heavier (50g) than the 9300. All in all it's THE perfect phone if you don't mind the weight, otherwise go for the N95.

Pros:
Everything!! except what I have in "Cons" |
Cons:
1. No Fax 2. Limited World clock First and foremost, this is a great gadget/phone !! It makes heads turn. Too many great things I can write about this phone... However, there is some limitation to its capabilities ..... I was using the Nokia9300 before this phone (E90). Thinking that this a Communicator, I expected everything that 9300 has, E90 will have plus more. So,if you minus the E90 camera, video, radio.... the 9300 is better off for me. I travel a lot and frequently changed the cities for the clock. In E90, I cant seem to add new cities (unlike in 9300, where I can add new cities by inputting the Latitude/Longitude of the new city...and I also get sunset/sunrise timings !!... ) essential for me especially when I am going some new place and need to chk this info for my planning. There is no fax facilities (unlike the 9300)...one hv to use the modem and link to PC... Anyway, I just got the phone for 10 days and I m still discovering new functions. Loved the "Converter" very much!! Like I said above...I travel (and shops) regularly...

Cons:
Too fragile, lousy service from Nokia Centre I have purchase the Nokia E 90 at Hello Station KLCC, Malaysia on 24 July 2007. On Saturtay, 4 July, the Hand Phone has drop from the height of approximately 60 cm (2 feets). On checking the condition after the drop, I discovered the hinges is a little bit loose. I decide to sent to nokia service centre at Berjaya Plaza, 1st Floor, Jalan Imbi. According to the attended clerk at Service centre, it will take 1-3 days to repair and the quotation for repair will be received via phone on Monday, 6 August 2007. Unfortunately nothing happened on Monday, resulting me have to ring up service centre to discover too many hand set to repair and they will call back if the quotation is ready, ( for god sake this is just a hand phone, not a complicated mechinery, my comment; 1. The set Nokia E90 is a lousy set, one time drop at 2 feets hieght is out of order already considering the purchase price of over RM 4,000.00 inclusive 2gb memory card. 2.Nokia service station at Berjaya Plaza is very lousy, as we are aware how importance the Comunicator is since all the work order, impoertance contact is in the communicator. Either the sevice station is inefficient or it just the way how nokia service station works. 3. Since I have make the wrong choice, guest I have to leave with E90, Nokia until I could effort to change to other better model.

Pros:
screen size, "dual phone", Symbian OS, wifi |
Cons:
Size For PDA phones, I've tried the Palm and Windows operating systems (both with treo 650 and 750v, repsectively). The palm OS is simple to use but is limited to viewing one program at a time. The windows OS on the other hand, allows multiple viewing but this eventually slows down the speed of the unit and will end up needing to be reset or closing all the program thru the program manager. While the palm OS in appearance gets boring after a while, the windows OS is more flexible and exciting. This however takes up extra memory. Which leads us to the Symbian OS in the nokia 90. I liken the appeance to be better than both the palm OS and windows. More exciting but not demanding in memory usage. The battery lasted longer than my treo 750v which i needed to charge every 2 days. For the e90, i end up charging every 3-5 days depending on usage. The phone can be used as a small laptop when it's open to views MS office documents among others. When it's closed, it's just a simple candybar phone for one hand use. Compared to other PDA phones, the screen size allows better viewing of documents. There's less need to scroll right or left compared to phones with smaller screens. This includes while surfing thru the built in wifi. The down side is of course related to the screen size when it is open. The overall size is larger than most phones and makes it bulky when in ones pocket. But the pros outweigh the cons and that why this is a very useful business phone.
