Pros:
Features, sound, weight |
| Cons:
NOT water resistant During the first extended workout with this unit it got damp with sweat. The side controls became unresponsive or erratic. Their functions have not recovered - volume goes up and down unexpectedly, and track back/advance happens randomly. Otherwise the unit is great to have. I'll be returning this one and will use the replacement only when I don't expect sweat to build up.

Pros:
Excellent Sound, Great battery life, good fit |
| Cons:
The buttons are crap. I bought my first set at best buy yesterday and it worked great for the 1 day I had it. Even after my workout I used it for an hour or two the next day and It was fine. I went to use it again and I couldn't turn the volume up so I could barely hear anything. I went back to Best Buy and exchanged it...The volume down button didn't work straight out of the box, charged then on my dry head. Brought it back for a refund and swore off Motorola products.

Pros:
Looks great..Great Idea |
| Cons:
One use at the gym and its dead Asked for one thing for Christmas and got it. The S9 looks great, is a great idea and just what I need for running and working out. Problem is after one workout at the gym its fried from sweat. Suppose to be water and sweat resistant, but it's not. What a dissappointment and rip off. I just wish a respectable company like Motorola would produce an product to do what they say it does. Maybe someday someone will have a good sweat resistant bluetooth headset available..but for now..back to cords...

Pros:
sound quality, ease of use, headset stays on well |
Cons:
occasionally skips a nanosecond of music track, loses connectivity on rare occasions I bought this item online via eBay, and it worked immediately with my Samsung A7 SYNC phone. it picked up the S9 via bluetooth within 10 seconds. Music quality is better than expected. Buttons are easy to access once you remember which ones do what (after a day I had it down pat). It is more water resistant than most people have been posting here...I wore these out while mowing the grass in a 10 minute rain shower...came back inside, recharged the battery-no worries! Also, the phonecalls come in even if you're listening to music and switches right back to where you left off on your music track seamlessly. Only bad thing is the music track will skip a nanosecond of sound once or twice in a given day, still better than the old Sony Walkman CD's skipping all over the place. I'm also sure that future models will be even better contoured to the head, right now it can be a bit uncomfortable to wear at times. Overall, it was worth the fee I paid online.

Pros:
Breaks down |
Cons:
no wires Ive purchased two of these headsets to use with my palm pilot TX at the gym, and within days the buttons stop working and are not responsive. I had both units about one month and use them for about an hour each, then they won't recharge anymore and i cant get them to work, one fell apart today and now dangles off the center, this is a way overpriced product that never works, great idea but poor execution. Anyone know how i can get my money back or who to direct these problems to at motorola? The volume is erratic and sometimes does not come back, problem with the first one. the buttons stop working after a few hours of use and never return. a problem i had with both of them.

Pros:
CRISP SOUND, FAST CONNECTION, GOOD QUALITY. |
| Cons:
WAY OVERPRICED! I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW MUCH THEY SELL THIS FOR? I MEAN SERIOUSLY ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME? AT BEST BUY, THEY GO FOR $129.99, THATS JUST INSANE! THESE ARE WORTH ABOUT $40.00, NOT MORE THAN THAT, NOR LESS. ANYWAYS, I LOVE THIS BLUETOOTH, IT HOOK UP FAST WITH MY PHONE, AND I LOVE HOW I CAN JUST HEAR MY MUSIC CRIPS. FOR A FEMALE, IT KINDA GETS TRANGLE UP WITH MY HAIR, I GUESS I WASN'T WEARING IT RIGHT, BUT OTHERWISE, ITS A AWESOME WIRELESS STEREO BLUETOOTH.

Pros:
Wirelessly Listen to Your Ipod |
| Cons:
Quality Stinks - Volume and Song Advance Broke Twice Purchased the motorola S9 to simply listen to my Ipod wirelessly while at the gym or running outside. My first pair lasted about 25 days when the song advance buttons on the right earbud stopped working. I returned for a new pair. The second pair lasted about 10 days and has the exact same problem. Also the volume controls on the left earbud stopped working with the volume stuck on low. For a company already struggling with dismal headset sales in their core cell phone business they beter work on their quaity control fixed too.

Pros:
easy start up with my helio ocean |
| Cons:
music starts to break up if i am riding my bike great product. it is exactly what i had expected. real easy to connect with my ocean. I ride my bike a lot so the only problem i had when doing so was that it started losing connection to my phone. But it was resolved when i strapped my phone holder on my backpack strap. it worked perfect after that. Talking to others was also great. I could hear the other person perfectly, the only thing is that they could hear everything in the background, kinda like speaker phone.

Pros:
Easily paired with Treo and was comfortable. |
| Cons:
Signal erratic, stutters, FELL apart in my hands! I was excited to get this hybrid for my Treo 650 but after I tried to use them initially, the sound cutting in and out constantly I gave up, thinking it was road noise. Next day went to put them on and one side literally fell off the center base section and was dangling by the wiring. How disappointing. So I never even tested them actually as a phone headset. My search continues! Keep working on this one Motorola!
