Pros:  Very well built

Cons:  Alot of features to get used to i recently bought this phone @ a lower price than what is shown, having been a cell phone user for the last 12 years i found this phone extremely nice, easy to use? if you have had cell phone use in the last 4 years yes, if not then this phone can be a challenge, as for features the ONLY feature it does not have that others i looked at had is bluetooth technology, however you can go handsfree with a ear-mic that plugs into the phone, this phone overall will last you a long time i am sure i am very hard on phones the first day out i dropped it twice, not even a scratch on it the phone feels and looks very futuristic, it is a bit larger than other phones but it has a good fit to it, better than some of the smaller, compact phones, i chose this phone Over the RAZR because of the looks and the durablity it has if you have some experiance with cell phones and need a durable phone then this phone is perfect for you, if you are the outdoors type of person hiking, cycling etc.. then this phone is a must for you, this phone does have a camera with movie mode also it takes excellent photos, has zoom photo sizing etc.. the phone seems to hook-up to a phone call faster than most phones i have owned, also it has room for over 500 names with up to 4 numbers plus there E-Mail address very nice phone in my opinion.

Pros:  Rugged/waterproof/Mansize/Finally a phone for big hands/easy to navigate the menus

Cons:  Bluetooth not available yet/No belt clip holster/only a carry case Basically for the last few years I have been looking for a rugged phone to replace my (read 5 year old Audiovox CDM-9500) cellphone. My old phone was rugged, and was a big phone, this new GzOne is all that and then some. This is my first phone with a camera, so I can't comment on it. The V-cast depends on your geographical area. The ringer slection is minimal, there needs to be a better selection for us guys that just like a basic ring tone, so you have to download what you are looking for. It's a good rugged phone for the guys that are in harsh enviroments, such as construction/trucking/industrial/military. Starfleet and the crew of the Enterprize would be proud to have this communicator. I cannot comment on battery life yet...I just got it, but being a Long haul truck driver I will soon find out. There is no belt clip available yet, but you can modify an existing carry case to fit the lower part of the flip, giving the option of using a quick release belt clip. You will need to purchase the slip on case for the "Motorola V325" by Verizon. Simply install the lower portion of the case and discard the upper part of the case (It doesn't fit anyhow)and you have an instant quick relase case for your Casio GzOne Type-V. The lower portion of the case has a snug fit, so it won't fall out. This is the best you can do until there is a dedicated case available for the phone. otherwise your stuck with the bulky case.
This phone also is feature loaded: Camera/text/Vcast/GPS/games/video
price depends on your current status with Verizon. I had my old phone for over 5 years so I was overdue for an upgrade, and got it for well under the retail price. I Highly recomend it.

Pros:  INDESTRUCTABLE, great camera, the flashlight is great, the buttons are probably the best of any phone's, and everyone begs me to take their pictures under water and send it to them.

Cons:  Battery only lasts about 1 day, it doesn't have any fancy features like the EZ tip calculator, if the phone is entriely submersed in water the sounds are a little quieter for about 20 mins., the speaker isn't very clear at all, and you can't store full songs on it. I personally love this phone. I only wish it were a music phone. I have sent some parts of songs to my phone through e-mail but I would really like to have full songs. Music aside, the phone probably has the fastest menu on any phone. I know that the new Type-S has come out, but I really love the size of the phone (The Type-S is the size of an average phone). I think it fits into almost everyone's lifestyle.

Pros:  size, buttons, screen display, camera, VERY RUGGED

Cons:  Battery life, I have had this phone for a few months and after a short break-in period from my last phone (LG6100)I really enjoy this phone. What attracted me was the look of "I can take whatever you can dish out." The size is great, I'm a big guy and I can cradle the phone where other phones are to small for me. The display is bright and easy to read the buttons have a great feel to them. The shock absorber that's attached was obtrusive at first, it can be removed, but I have found it really makes opening and closing the phone alot easier. I get alot of compliments about this phone and everyone wants to see it. My only complaint is battery life. My last phone would go forever between charges but not this one. Needs charging every other day depending on use. I have seen the replacement G'Zone Type S...I'll stick with this one!

Pros:  tough and fits big guys

Cons:  poor speaker quality and volume buttons are on side where I hit them when talking The battery life isn't what they say it is and you really need to keep this phone on a charger when you are not using it.

Buttons on side a pain. Always hitting them while talking. cannot take phone out of belt clip without hitting them.

Speakers are not very good. Best on low volumn.

Head set requires adapter that is a pain.

Don't think you are missing out because they are discontinuing this phone. maybe the next model will be better.

Pros:  Rugged, water and OIL proof!

Cons:  bulk My husband loves this phone! He works construction, has dropped it in oil, as well as in a pond...and it still works. I have dropped it on cement...and it still works. The sound is a little poor, and of course it is bulky. My husband doesn't care about the bulk, just tired of needing to replace his phone all the time. After a year of use and abuse, it still works like new. Definitely for the rugged outdoor guy who is hard on phones.

Pros:  Beatable, water resistant

Cons:  Tragic speakerphone, pathetic camera, protruding volume/ speakerphone controls The main reason I purchased this phone is the durability factor. My phones tend to neither stay in my hand or dry and up until this phone that was always a problem. It has been dropped and tossed about a bit and it still works. I've also tossed it ina couple fish tanks and beer coolers to show off to friends as well. :) The cons are as noted above.

The VGA camera is next to useless unless you have a very steady hand and a well lit subject. The speaker phone is unusable unless you are in a near silent environment and stil neds to be held near the ear. I'm sure this is due to the waterproofing needed to keep the innards dry.

The most annoying thing is the volume controls and speakerphone button that are constantly hit when I open the phone. If you accidently hit the volume button while opening the phone or dialing then nothing can be done for a few seconds until the volume clears itself or you hit the "set" button.

The cons while annoyong are far outweighed by the durability and water resistant abilities of the phone.

Pros:  Water "restistant", styling, display, camera

Cons:  pretty breakable for an unbreakable phone, battery life I think I was one of the first people to own this phone. I got my first one January of 07. It broke the first week I had it. It vibrated itself off of my coffee table, which is only about 1.5 feet up and the antenna broke off. Couldn't trade it in because I was stupid and didn't get insurance because this phone was supposed to last. WRONG. Anyway, the mic that you talk into died about 2 months later, so that was a replaceable defect and I got a new one. The speaker on this one crapped out and now I am on my third "UNBREAKABLE" phone. The battery life has been pathetic from the beginning. One day at the most and I don't talk much on the phone. Even texting eats the battery. No extended life batteries available either and that is just plain dumb. Don't buy this phone. Wait until they come out with a better version. Hopefully they will learn from their mistakes. They should keep the camera. It is great, or at least the best one I have had. Like the texting on this phone much better than the Samsung and Motorola models. It looks cool too, but that is about the end of its pros. Like I said, wait until they come out with the new and improved model. I don't think the type S qualifies as new and improved yet. Great idea, poor execution.

Pros:  Water resistant, good speaker phone, awesome 2.0 megapixel camera, large outer LCD

Cons:  Short battery life, can't close phone until text has confirmed sent, can't read text messages on outside, no picture ID outside, slow menu I purchased my phone on an upgrade 2 weeks ago and I love it, I had the LG 8100 and had a hard time making myself replace it. I have actually already dropped it in water and pulled it out quickly being skeptical that it would work and sure enough, phone was in perfect condition after I dried it. I am having trouble with the text messaging and I have contacted Verizon to see if I can get another phone. When I send a text, I have to keep the phone open until the message says "sent" or else there is an error in sending it. I also have an issue that several times a day after finishing the text and pressing send or the ok key, the whole message erases and isn't even saved in the drafts and doesn't even send. It's very upsetting because if I type a long message, I have to retype it. I am not to thrilled about the battery life either, I carry a car charger for it all the time though. Over all, I haven't read any other forums for the issues I am having with the texting, so I hope it's just a standalone problem with mine. I hope to get another replacement. The camera is exceptional for a cell phone. Just wish the video had a longer recording time. If you don't text alot, this phone rocks. I have had several conversations while taking a shower just to prove to my wife that the phone rocks! Also, some of the buttons and soft keys are opposite of my old LG 8100 and have had a hard time memorizing the opposite features.
