Pros:
Remote control, good radio reception |

Cons:
Very poor sound quality, not compatible with many MP3 devices Pros: It comes with a remote control and gets good radio reception. Cons: I bought the Philips AZ1835 Boombox because of the advertised features--"one touch MP3 recording, no computer needed...enjoy MP3 and WMA music from portable USB storage device/MP3 player." We have four types of MP3 players--Iriver, Trutech, Scandisk, and Samsung, and none of them are compatible with the Philips AZ1835, yet all of them have USB capability. The only media we could get it to read was a jump drive with some music files. The sound quality was another disappointment. I would equate the quality with the cheapest boombox that you can buy--cheap plastic and poor speakers. There is no equalizer and you can forget that base exists. Why pair such a high-tech boombox (assuming that you have a compatible MP3 player) with such lousy sound?
