Pros:
big screen to see, can convert almost anything to be compatible, cool features, unique |
| Cons:
annoying to load music in, HUGE (1/2 in. thick!), included earphones suck I don't know anyone who I know owns this particular music player, which makes it unique. I dropped it a few times, but it still works completely... thank God. The buttons are a bit small, but other than that it's okay. The player is smooth and looks really NICE : D but so big and bulky, AGH. But the features are GREAT! You can record your voice up to 10 minutes (wow), the radio works... yar. The included earphones they give you distort easily after a while. One of the biggest drawbacks of the Zen Vision W is loading music in. For MY computer, every time it tries to load a large number of things (ex. 12 videos?) into the Zen, my computer freezes and stops. It's just... FRUSTRATING. However, the good thing of loading the music in is it can convert almost anything to something compatible. If you have a song that's a .midi, when loading music in it converts it to .mp3 or .wma. It's very handy : D... although you can do the same thing with iTunes. Again, not many people have the Zen Vision W, so it's worth buying : D

Pros:
The supported formats and internal speaker are fantastic, It playes all my media and the speaker has great sound to be so small |
| Cons:
Whish the menu buttons were bigger or more spaced out for folks with big fingers. It was a bit costly at the time of my purchase around $479.00. All the supported formats, the bright screen, the video quality and the internal speaker are fantastic. I wish it came standard with a leather carrying case or a protective rubber shell in case it was dropped. Yes, I have dropped it and it remains fully functional. I keep it in bookbag and it's tossed around on a regular basis. It froze on me once after I dropped it but never again afterward. I have owned the Dell Digital DJ (30GB) and a couple of Sansa products as well as Arkos. This is by far the best player I have owned. My friends own the iPod and three of the sold them on Ebay and bought Vision W (Widescreen).
