Pros:  Size and ease of use. Sound quality excellent..no scratches like Nano.

Cons:  none Recieved for my birthday and love it. I am not an addict so I do not use it everyday and it would take me some time to reach 500 songs. This product is perfect for people who are not into having to have the ipod name.

Pros:  Portability, sound quality, music and books and radio

Cons:  none I choose this MP3 player because it was on a list as being able to to accept downloaded books from my library. I have to say I absolutely love it. I download two books a week (the max my library allows) and if I really like the book I listen to it while I'm cooking or whatever. The library had a list of MP3 players that could use the software that they provided free. I do everything over the internet without even leaving home. It is just great when my husband is driving us somewhere longer distance and I can lose myself in a good book with my eyes closed! I plan to put some more music on it, just found the books the best. P.S. I did follow the instructions to upgrade the firmware and maybe the person who had a bad experience did not do this.

Pros:  Real portable, great volume easy to operate

Cons:  The internal port for the head phones malfunctioned The Sansa is great, however I had purchased this device only about a year ago, and the headphone port was not delivering the sound to the headphones correctly. (Maybe it was only mine who knows).... in any case, overall, it's a good product.

Pros:  Holds plenty of tunes for a casual user like me.

Cons:  User manual pretty poor Got mine for my birthday and now use it constantly. I recommend it for everyone. You have to use one to understand how great an MP3 player is!

Pros:  Everythings is awesome

Cons:  nothing Recently, I bought my mp3 player to replace my old one that took AAA batteries. I also like the fact that it has a voice recorder for college students. I had a voice recorder that was also using too many AAA bateries. I also love the features of the FM radio and slide show. I can put pictures in my mp3 player. It has a 15 hr. battery life.

Pros:  Size

Cons:  Erased Music? I've had this device for three weeks, I loved it at first although I there's only the 'go list' as a play list. It doesnt come with software that supports the making of playlists so I've yet to figure out how to go about that. 3 weeks out of the box, walking up an escalator, and the music stopped, everything erased. No reason.

Pros:  Rechagable Battery

Cons:  Not Allot Of Memmory The Thing i like with this mp3 player is that its small compact yet easy to use it even includes a rechargeable battery it lasts long to its light no moving parts inside so you get crisp clear digital mp3 music just the way you like it i put all my mp3s in windows media so i put like 1,000 songs on it awsome

Pros:  size,sound,almost everything

Cons:  it freezes up sometimes I've had this for a few months and it worked great until last week.I was listening to a song and right after the song ended it just froze.i freaked out a little then i just removed the battery, then waited a few seconds, popped the battery back in and turned it back on and it worked fine...five minutes later and it freezes again. So again I take out the battery and put it back in and turn it on.It's a bit irritating but I guess I can deal.Overall, this is awesome just a few problems with it.

Perfect, But Troublesome

Pros:  Great sound and battery life

Cons:  Difficulty in synching with Windows Vista After reading the reviews, I thought this player would be a perfect alternative to an over-priced iPod. After 3.5 months of use, I can say it is in every respect but one or two.

My first MP3 player, I use it on my daily drive to and from work - a total of 2 hours and fifteen minutes - and I need only charge it once a week!

Sound quality is A+, and I have it hooked up to an adapter that will allow it to play through my tape deck. The player has it's own equalizer, which allows for coustom settings. It can hold around 400 songs.

FM radio and voice/radio recording are nice features, though I never use them. I have a camera to look at photos, so I find the photo viewing capability pointless, especially since the player has a 1"x2.5" screen. Otherwise, text is easily readable.

The cons: Unless your songs are impeccably tagged for artist, song, title and genre, they will be mis-catagorized. If you transfer a folder containing all the songs of an album, don't expect to find them when looking under "Albums" unless each of them were correctly tagged, as the player does not categorize songs by the folder you put them in. This, I find, is forgivable.

What is unforgivable is that every time I hook up the player to the USB port, my Windows Vista operating system recognizes it, then disconnects it seconds later about 10-30 times before making a stable connection. This is aggravating, and makes me want to buy a new player as soon as I have thee money for one.
