Apple iPod Video 30GB - Black MP3 Player

Product Description

With enough room for your favorite music and video, this iPod has both sound and vision. Of course, it also boasts stamina (up to 20 hours of battery life), generous capacity (30GB or 80GB of storage), a great personality (intuitive, customizable menus), and a touch of genius (the Click Wheel). In other words, iPod makes an ideal companion. Why not get to know it better? Click on a feature to see it on the new iPod display, then read about it here.

Pros:  The size, the sound and picture quality

Cons:  The back of the iPod is easily scratch, the battery life for watching video is so short OMG, the first time I got it, I was like 'What the hell?! It's so thin!'. Really.. Take my word for it. It can easily be slipped into my jeans pocket, and yeah, the sound and picture quality are really awesome. But one thing for sure, the battery life for watching video is quite suck. I watch the 5 minutes video, the battery already decreased so much.. But don't take my word for it, cos anyone seriously need to experience the coolness of the iPod!!!

Pros:  Very Sleek and sexy looking, alot of features, and tons of support.

Cons:  Very Fragile, Sound quality, Screen size, Value This may be the biggest over-hyped product ive have owned. the sound quality is not good compared to similar products(Zen, Zune, Etc.) and the screen size is small for considering playing video. Extremely fragile one drop from your hand and you can kiss this device goodbye. Apple is always known for over pricing there devices the iPhone, iPod's, iMac's and are not consumer friendly. the only reason i can see anyone buying an iPod is because they are part of the "bandwagon" iPod's are basically for looks not quaility or saticfatcion.

Pros:  very good features Games, Notes, Contacts, etc

Cons:  extremly fragile and screen is a little small 4 videos i think the ipod video is way overratted. first of the ipod video cannot take a beating say you dropped it one time i guarentee that if you did not drop it on carpet it would have broke. second the screen is small to watch videos if you are going to make a video player atleast make the screen bigger altought this is a great music player not video player the sound quality i noticable worse when compared to the zune and other similar devices. my advice is shop around first and try out some more devices befor purchasing the ipod video not a top choice.

Use it all the time

Ratings:  4 out of 5
Pros:  Ease of use, small, and sleek.

Cons:  scratches very easily, proprietary audo formats This thing is really an item of beauty but it scratches like crazy. Be prepared to get a case which could make it so it is no longer a thing of beauty.
I use it all the time but not for video, battery life is not long enough (2 hours with video) and it doesn't come with any tools for converting video.
I really like it but they need to give up on proprietary formats and move to open source like FLAC. They tend to try to control you with their apple format.

Pros:  None

Cons:  Just about everything. The first day i got my iPod it scratched and there were fingerprints all over it. It kept stalling over and over the video watching experience was horrible. This Thing is the worst junk ever. The Battery Life sucked too. The next week I got a Microsoft Zune and absolutely loved it. It worked fantastically. If you are deciding between the iPod and Zune, PICK THE ZUNE!!

Ratings:  2 out of 5
Pros:  very sexy looking, easy to use, games

Cons:  fragile, sound qaulity, price, support, i have had my ipod for about 4 months right now and have done a side by side comparison to my zune that i purchased 2 weeks ago. the screen on the ipod is a little small to watch movies on and view pictures and battery life when watching movies is only 2 hours on my device. the music quaility is not good compared to other mp3 companies such as creative, archos, and surprisingly the zune beats the ipod in audio quaility c-net did a sound check on both the ipod and zune and the zune won 4/6 votes. the ipod is very sexy looking but its duribility takes that away quick it my be the most fragile mp3 player in the world and to back that up there costumer support is terrible not to mention you will have problems with your ipod. my ipod video pauses every 3 or 4 sec when playing music and apple will not even repair it even when i still have a warrenty

Pros:  Awesome music quality, great pictures, large space, and nice design

Cons:  Battery life, converting DVDs into IPod format I got this IPod about 2 months ago and I have been very satisfied. It is easy to load music and pics. The only thing that I don’t like is battery life and it’s a little bit hard to load movies.

Ratings:  5 out of 5
Pros:  Sound quality, video, easy of use, lots of features

Cons:  battery life, puttin videos on it I got this ipod about 4 months ago and i have been very satisifed with it so far. It is very easy to put music and pics on. The battery life is rather short when you are watching a movie or video, but if you are just listening to music it will last much longer. It is a little difficult to put movies on unless you have a converter to convert the movie to ipod format. I would recommend that you buy a case to put it in or make sure you leave the plastic that comes on the front of it on it. Other than that, i would highly recommend this mp3 player.

My Ipod Battery Is Crappy, but my ipod is so great

Pros:  Awesome music, great pictures, large space

Cons:  hard to import video, short battery life, no fm tuner, no microphone, super easy to scratch good enough to purchase and use, but you may want to buy a car usb charger because its battery life is bad (especially when watching videos or looking at pictures) only a couple hours for music (4) and like 1 hr for video, pics really kill the battery quick, but it has great fuctions and sound, but videos are expensive most of the time because most of the time you have to get them off iTUNES ( music videos are $.99, movies are $9.99 to $18.99,games are $5 and songs are $.99 each, so if you can afford to buy accessories that cos $$$ and videos that cost $$, then an iPod is definetly for you, but if you mostly want to listen to music, then they are pretty good there just convert (almost any kind of music) file using iTunes, but if you're only going to do that, I'd buy a much cheaper player like a toshiba for $169 that holds 30 GB, $80 less, but I like mine and will keep it for a long time

Cons:  bad battery life and it scratches easily I use it all the time but you have to buy a case for it so it will not scratch so easily
