Pros:
best for the money |

Cons:
nothing better out there High Definition video (1.3 megapixels) and photos (5.0 megapixels interpolated) shows you in the best light. The built-in microphone automatically picks up your voice with remarkable clarity. Just press the windows live call button on the device and select an online contact to start a video call with windows live messenger. The 71 degree wide angle lens ensures no one gets left out of the picture. The zoom delivers realistic, up-close-and-personal video, so you can see the contours of every smile with 3X digital zoom. Move around without disappearing from the screen advanced software keeps your face front and center. The long, 6ft cable gives you more room to move. The new USB 2 enables much higher connection speeds, so you can experience life in real-time. Surprise your friends with cool video effects, accessible right from the Windows Live Messenger Window. LifeCams capture life at 30 frames per second, which means the video images you see are smooth and seamless.

Pros:
ease of use, microsoft compatible and ease of installation |
|
|
|
| Cons:
5 mega pixels for stills, 1.3 mp for video When using this product I first chose the product for the compatibility with MS operation systems. Having a laptop and desktop gave me an definite idea if the product could be installed in both types of computer stations. It really was easy and any updates comes with the regular MS update feature. The price may seem prohibitive but it certainly is durable as the casing and type of casing will show, it rubbery. Furthermore, there is the livecall feature that allows you to provide video and call up any of your online contact on MS live messenger. It also easy enough to use with either AIM and Yahoo messenger. There is an auto focus at 640 x 480 resolution, normal cam resolution, and head focusing under the same resolution. There are gimmicks you can use to make your live cam unique and manual focus if you choose anything higher than the above mentioned resolution. It also has a built in mic for those who are just upgrading or purchasing a new computer, that certainly helps.

Cons:
software sucks I was convinced to buy by the reviews. After buying they were all wrong. The software is lacking compared to Logitech and Creative. Not much utility as all you can do is communicate online. Software has No Video time lapse capture, No ability to create a vide out of time lapse videos or stills. No remote monitoring, Jerky motion video on a 2.8 ghz computer running WinUltimat. Very dissapointed. You will be too
