Pros:
3.2 MP Camera with Xenon Flash, High Quality Display, Bluetooth, 3G, Video Call, Relatively Long Battery Life |

|
|
Cons:
Video Call Function Is Not Be Able To Use In The US, Price Still Has Room To Decrease This is the first Sony Ericsson brand mobile phone which with built in 3.2 Megapixel Digital Camera. It is also one of the Sony Ericsson phone with the Sony CyberShot Technology. I have used this phone for about a week, its high quality display, 16x digital zoom, with the auto-focus and Xenon flash (The flash that usually built-in to Digital Cameras), with the BestPic function, the pictures taken almost as good as a low-end digital camera, video quality also clear, with FM Radio, music player, video playback, video editor, I should have no complaint for this!
The most amazing thing in this phone is the 3G support, 3G is the latest GSM Technology and has been widely used by many major countries in Europe and Asia, like in South Korea, you must have a 3G mobile phone in order to use there. Video Call function may let you have a new feel contacting the world! In Addition to the 3.2 Megapixel digital camera, it has a VGA camera built-in just on the front side, you can use this camera for video conference. Can you imagine what is you feel if you talking face-to-face each other, even both of you has thousands of miles of distance?
Only thing I feel disappointed is the 3G technology in the US has not yet been completely and widely used, the only company that has 3G, Cingular, only provides Cingular Video to allow contract customers to pay appropiate monthly fees to watch TV programs, like HBO, CNN, etc. The 3G coverage is very spotty, too. Only a few metropolitan cities have 3G network coverage at this time, of course, the video call function may not be used in the short future.
This is still a best camera phone I never seen even though some function like video call cannot be used in the country. If you like take best picture, but don't want to buy an digital camera, this phone is absoulutely your choice!

Cons:
Voice volume, buttons I bought this phone, sony ericsson k800i, 2 months ago. I couldnt wait to play with it and when i got it, thats what i exactly did. I spent so much time playing and getting to know this phone that until now i am still in a "wow" state. First of all, i like the phones color. I am so glad i did not get the james bond - casino royale version (kinda greyish color) because this one fits my personality better. It is not like the motorola razr v3i version (metallic) and yes it is plastic but the phone is stylish (at least what i think). I want to start with the good side: The screen is vibrantly clear and crisp. Buttons are fair, not really friendly especially for those people who have big fingers, but for somebody like me who have tiny fingers i can live with it and it works fine. Navigation button is a plus although it takes a couple of steps to get to wherever you want to go in the settings/menu but once you get use to it, you dont even have to look at the screen, your hands will just guide you through it. Although the slider that covers the camera does not look like it belongs there because of its shiny color, I like the fact that it is different and it adds more to the looks of the phone. Features include applications you see in a regular camera phone; sms, mms, email, wap (with almost close to true full webpage), clock, organizer, stopwatch, you know stuff like that. I really like the software that they put it in it such as; 3D games, hp print (via bluetooth), photo mate, photodj, videodj, musicdj, and my favorite face warp (you take a picture of somebody in close up and then make fun of them by using this software because it will make them look more uglier). I like the video call feature but i couldnt use it because USA does not carry that service (i also like the fact that the phone has two camera, 3mp and a vga for video call) The best part that i like about this phone is the camera. SEK800I, 3.2 megapixel camera is so awesome. Granted that it does not compare to a stand alone 7 megapixel camera (duh) but it does compare to a stand alone 3.2 megapixel camera (my friend still have her 3.2 nikon and i can honestly say that this one is more better picture wise). The camera features of this phone is excellent. I dont even want to go to all the details because it is too much. It took me a long time to figure it out and until now i have to remind myself that there are some features that i can use to better my picture quality when im using it as a digital camera. Flash is nice, although, It does not compare to the flash that a stand alone camera has. That would be something that needs improvement. Anti-shake features is awesome (all my digital camera did not have this feature). Best pic did not seem to appeal me but for a lot of folks it does. Zoom is alright, will be better if it is a 7 meg. Overall, sony did a good job in combining its digital camera features with Ericsson's digital cell phone. Battery life is excellent. I use my phone a lot in taking pictures for school, playing radio and mp3 (which are the two awesome features that I need and want for a cell phone), and of course, making calls. With all that, I really do not have to recharge my phone for two days. When i recharge my phone, it goes to Optimize Charging. Seriously, it only take me an hour to charge it, and most of the time my battery is dead. Signal is better than my other phones (nokia, motorola, seimens, panasonic, lg) but of course, you cannot just "not have" a dead spot (although cingular claims to have a "no dead spot" zone). Processing system is pretty fast. I never have to boot up my phone due to a freeze up. Internet access using WAP is fair. We do not have EDGE here so i dont know if this phone is good in that. Now the bad side: Like what i said, the volume is pretty low. I actually have to stick the phone (i mean literally stick it hard) on my ear. With wired earpeice, it is better. The spea

Cons:
OS not stable I recently bought a K800i. This phone have many good feature, like the camera and 3G compability. The design of the phone is good, very professional looking.
The biggest problem is that the OS is alittle crappy. It hangs when I multitask, and it cannot be turn off using the power button. I have to remove the battery, which fry my phone's circuit board. Good phone to get but use with caution until new firmware arrive from SEUS (Sony Ericsson Update Service).

Cons:
voice volume, video calling & memory Bought this phone about a month ago. Was trying to decide between this, W950i & W850i. Ended up getting this because of it's cybershot tech. A 3.2 pixel camera phone I just can't past up. Even though I wished it had more memory space like the W950i. Now for the good part. This phone is packed with all the features you need for webing, emailing, video calling, 3G service, music, 3.2 pixel Camera & more! Too bad that currently not all the provider supports 3G, otherwise this phone would be on the top. The camera also features Best Pic mode, which takes 9 shots by just taking one picture and you choose the best one. Having this phone let's me take BETTER pictures all over the place without bring my other camers for daily use. I've had SE phone before so navigation wasn't a problem. If you are a new user, the interface is very user friendly and shouldn't trouble you at all. Overall the is a gerat phone even wothout the support of the 3G service! Highly recommanded.

Pros:
Awesome Camera, great mp3 player, Great Quality, Easy to use Menus and countless options |
|
|
|
| Cons:
Does not come with extra Memory, you must buy it seperately I had a T610, and needed to get a better phone. I trust Sony E, so after shopping around for over a month, and trying out different phones at cell phone stores, the K800i was a clear choice! It's one of the best, if not THE best cameras on the market. With the flash built in, and countless options like Best Pic, video recording and Photo DJ, it eliminates the need to buy a digital camera AND a phone. The K800i is both, and if you take care of it, you won't need a new phone for ages. It's very advanced with countless up to date features, including some features that are more advanced than the U.S. networks can handle, like video call. I know some countries have this option, so when the US finally does it, the K800i is already equipped with it. It has a great mp3 player, with speaker, and fun music DJ. It has easy to use menus, all though the internet button, and shortcut buttons are so small, you might accidently press them while navigating, but I have stuby fingers. It's well built, very light, has a lens protector which I love. You can have keygaurd on and if you need to snap a quick photo, just click the lens down, and snap a photo! The only two major fault is the amount of memory and the price of the phone. It's under 90MB or so, so you must buy additional memory seperately if you want to save a lot of music, video files or pics. I payed around $390, which made my wallet cry, so make sure you can afford it. GREAT phone, GREAT camera, GREAT feautres.

Pros:
A nice handphone with a wonderful camera |
|
|
|
Cons:
Bad night landscape night shots I have this phone for a few months right now and I have nothing but praises for this wonderul handphone by Sony Ericsson. The K800i is a phone, a camera and a my little walkman altogether. It has a great camera for taking those nice pictures when you need to. I would suggest a minimum 1 gb memory card for storing those pictures. Battery life is good if you are doing one thing at a time but if you take photos and taking calls at the same time. There will be a drain in the battery life, however if you are not doing anything, on standby there is a good 3 days battery life. I have taken great pictures during the day but during the night, it is difficult to take night landscape photos. For potrait shows with people during the night is nice because of the wonderful flash.
This is one phone take I will recommend whole to anyone looking to have a camera phone. The phone has great value and with its wondeful feature. One will not be disappointed in having this phone.
