Pros:  Intuitive to use, fast processor, lightning fast IMing

Cons:  No camera and memory card slot, texting should be part of BB plan I've had almost every PDA type phone out there from the Treo 650, sidekick II, MDA, HP Ipaq 6315...this has gotta be hands down the best there is. The BB Pearl is coming out in a couple of weeks with a camera and MP3 player and more...tempted to get it but I'm gonna have QWERTY keyboard withdrawals.

MUST HAVE!

Pros:  Great phone for business use, Cool Software apps *Get the free google maps

Cons:  HMMM maybe the instant message could use some help but no really huge Cons Great Phone I bought the second sidekick when it came out and loved it, but it wasn't the phone I needed running an internet business. As for the Blackberry it is more what I can think is a " Grown UP " Sidekick. Great Phone, Great Apps, Awesome look. I would say buy it and you will agree.

Forget about the SK3, get this instead

Pros:  Screen, speakerphone, bluetooth, apps

Cons:  Trackwheel I started out with the Sidekick3. Even the TMO rep said I would be back for the BB8700. 18 hours later, I was back and sooo grateful. The only thing I miss about the SK3 is the cool joystick/rollerball which makes the BB trackwheel feel inadequate. The BB allows you to install 3rd party apps and customize in ways other phones can’;t (ie. you can change the ring tones based on if the phone is in the holster or not) I have always been reluctant to get a bigger phone as I was accustomed to the size of the RAZR V3, but to be honest, this doesn’t seem all that big and is very easy to carry. I can’t throw it in my shirt pocket and forget I’m carrying it, but that’s okay because it is usually in my hand browsing websites, sending text messages, IM’ing with friends and occasionally making a phone call...

Pros:  out of date

Cons:  big screen T-mobile is still selling these phones on their website even though it is outdated. Cost in August 2008 was $225. What they do not tell you is that along with the t-mobile cell phone charges, you must also have the blackberry plan which is $39.00 per month! Otherwise your phone will not work properly.
Also, if you have tech issues, they have a standard list of troubleshooting. Remove battery, download a fix, etc. Just do it yourself because they will keep you on the phone for an hour.
Overall I don't think it's a great deal at all. Way too expensive unless you absolutely have to have email with you at all times.
