Pros:
Will play nearly every .avi or .mpg file you have! |
Cons:
The quality is NOT increased. ...and I can't believe that that fact is NOT mentioned anywhere in these specs... I mean...How would you know? That it had DivX Ultra encoded for .avi playback and more?(unless you already owned one =) ) But at LEAST $100 less than the next PLAYER that I could find that played ALL those computer files I'd been watching on my little monitor for so long... Now I could enjoy them in the living room on my television! With a scan!.. awsome deal no matter what! After a month I quickly bought 2 more! one for my Mom and my son so we can share discs (Video CDRs and DVD-Rs)... and over 3 months on mine and 2 on theirs.. so far so good! @ under $50 at Wally world... it's a heck of a deal!

Pros:
Plays all formats, HDMI, inexpensive, sound and picture |
| Cons:
No controls on player This replaced a two year old Magnavox which had no HDMI output. Great sound and picture quality for the price. The performance is on par with more expensive players. Read the manual as there are many options for optimizing performance. The only con is other than on/off/play and eject there are no controls on the player itself. Don't lose the remote!
