Pros:
lots of features, like splitting recordings |

Cons:
lousy software package; slow software response Being able to split recordings is a nice feature, expecially if you forget to turn off the recorder or have sections that you want to delete. Wish I could say nice things about the software package. Extremely slow to respond to commands; literally takes minutes to start a playback, and then only after numerous clicks on the file to be played back. Probably not compatible with spy ware, tunnel guard, encrypted disk, etc. Payed too much ($60 + tax) at Circuit City when I could have gotten it for $52 on-line and NOT have to pay 8% state tax. Even so, much cheaper than an older style Olympus with less features. My rating would have been higher if not for the software. Software developers MUST learn to develop to the ever expanding computer technology which now includes numerous security programs on any one computer.

Pros:
20 feet away teacher is picked up just fine. |
|
|
|
| Cons:
Plastic case feels cheep Had to e-mail Sony for user manual. The website is down once in a while. I was able to download a user manual. I read that it works with Dragon Naturally Speaking ver 5 or greater (you need to purchase).
