Pros:  small and compact and easy to use once you find out where and how to put the toner containers.

Cons:  Goes through toner quickly. I bought this Samsung CLP-300 brand new. The color toner costs 52.49 each (3) and $67.00 for black. The black lasted about 1200 pages and then when I replaced that the waste cartridge container was full so I emptied that and then a week later the cyan(blue) cartridge was out. Though the quality of prints is great this is a high maintenance machine. The initial cost is good/comparable but my dell printer cartridges last 4x longer and I have had that copier for years.

Pros:  Size and easy maintenance for color laser printer

Cons:  Toner wasted The printer seems innovative at first glance, but the toner is wasted. A week after replacing my black toner cartridge, that only lasted 1227 pages, the red light came on. The printer diagnostics claim the waste toner cartridge is full. What in the world is a waste toner cartridge. I looked in the manual and Samsung wants me to throw out the waste toner container and buy a new one. I looked in the container and sure enough the container is full of toner. What a waste. I decided to just empty the waste toner into the trash and put the waste container back in the printer. That seemed to work, but just the thought of all that toner wasted is very dissappointing.
Now I am wondering if this printers main innovation is to sell extra toner and parts to squeeze more money from the customer.

I aknowledge I am not a printer expert, but my old NEC laser printer went much longer before I had to replace toner and it did not have a toner waste container.

This color laser printer is easy to maintain and has a compact size, but be aware of wasted toner.
