Pros:
Expandable, plays videos, nice familiar design, good value for money |
Cons:
Strange video conversion software This little unit is VERY NICE. It (as you would expect) works seamlessly with Windows Media Player, and for the money gives you quite a few features. (Suggestion: Go for WMAs in lieu of MP3s to store more songs and stretch your capacity.) It plays videos AND you can buy a memory card to expand capacity beyond 2GB. A VERY NICE and welcome feature. I bought my wife's at Best Buy for $149.99 and she loves it. We listened to it yesterday on a long trip and were quite satisfied. From what I understand, its interface is just like the iPod Nano's, so you should be familiar with it. I would highly recommend this unit.

Pros:
Lightweight, 500 song capacity, video, picture, recording capability |
Cons:
Volume control is slightly annoying I got the Sansa e250 MP3 player for Christmas and overall I am extremely satisfied with this device. Only because I picked out the gift, do I know that this is an excellent value for the price. Not only do I get 500 song capacity, I also get an integrated FM Radio and the ability to also upload video and pictures to tihs device. The screen is full color and is very nicely lit. The best feature of this MP3 player that I've experienced is the after-purchase service that I received from SanDisk. I developed a problem uploading MP3's to my player three days after christmas and called the manufacturer's customer service number to get some assistance. I was greeted by one of the most pleasant people I've ever encountered on the phone. I was pleasantly suprised to know that she owned the same model MP3 player that I did. After walking me through the fix, she gave me advice on how to avoide the problem in the future.

Pros:
More Features than I-Pod, Durable, and nice looking. |
Cons:
Rhapsody Channels are slow to update I recently purchased this Sansa player after looking at options for a few months. I had originally thought I'd by an I-Pod but the restrictions scared me away.
What sold me on this unit was the versitility and wide range of extras you got here. The interface is easy on the eyes and easy to figure out while not being overstated. The FM Radio and Rhapsody Channels are great additions, as are the video and voice recorder. My favorite feature is that you can add additional memory using micro-SD sticks. Though Rhapsody is used for music sorting its not required to upload files to the MP3 player you can drag and drop MP3 or WMA files right onto the player (rhapsody cheannels do require rhapsody however).
The only drawbacks are that it takes awhile for the channels to update and that the glossy front face attracts finger prints. Finally, this player is $50 bucks cheaper than I-Pod Nano, a steal considered all the extras you get!

Pros:
Can scroll through music, Bright Screen, Radio,Records,Video Clips, and good sound |
| Cons:
Freezes,Scroll wheel will take time to get use to, It is the first mp3 player i have and it's the best. Not better than an ipod hehe...But its worth every penny. One day i hooked up the sandisk to my computer it wouldn't let me access my music. I couldn't delete them but only add them. =[ I looked all over the internet for answers...I had to return it to best buy. Becareful not to damage it cause there is no way to fix it.

Pros:
Looks, ease of use, quality and design. |
| Cons:
Small buttons and display. I really enjoy using my e250. I use Yahoo Music to Go which is a great service and works well with the MP3. Only gripe is that if the MP3 is near its limit, I cannot sync to the service and have to delete and reload; but this is a minor inconvenience for the value. I jettisoned the poor quality ear buds that came with the e250 and am using Sennheiser PX100 earphones; the sound and quality are great!

| Cons:
cant erase original songs it came with I like the features it has (video, fm radio, pictures, voice recording etc...) But the only problem I have is trying to erase the original songs that came with the device. Other than that it is a work of art. I would recommend it to anyone.

Pros:
Awesome value for your money and lots of cool features |
| Cons:
If you have no clue with computers it will be a little challenging to get started Overall the Sansa e250 is probably better than ipods and every other MP3 player on the market. If you need a dependable and durable MP3 player but you don't have tons of extra cash on hand the e250 is for you. Once you get started its simple to use and its much easier to use than itunes. You can go to anyones computer with Windows Media and put songs on your e250. Now you don't need to go and buy a portable DVD player, all you need to do is burn a movie to the Sansa and watch it on there. Overall it's awesome and I would recommend it to anyone.

Pros:
Expandable! Plus all the right features. |
| Cons:
None so far I've had this unit for a few weeks now, and the battery life is great, the functunality has been perfect, and overall it's just been a great little device. The size is great for taking it along to the gym, and the Micro Card slot opens up a whole new realm of use. Cnet didn't like the controls, but they seem fine to me. Audio quality if great, and video playback is smooth as can be. With the FM radio and recorder, it out-features the Nano.
