Pros:  Tom Tom software is good

Cons:  Does not connect to Bluetooth Satelite receiver I bought this to use originnally with a Palm 650. Little did I know that the 650 would die after only 19 months, one month after purchasing the GPS. It worked well with the 650, although it was slow to pick up satelites.

Palm discontinued the 650, and came out with the 680, an inferior product to the 650, and the GPS hardly works at all. I downloaded the "patch", which did not help much at all. Last weekend it took 42 miles on the interstate to get the GPS to pickup the satelite receiver. I was at my destination before it figured out where I was. Palm Support was clueless when I called them.

I bought this to minimize the number of gadgets in the car. I am going out today to buy a Garmin Nuvi 680. Once a great product, Palm appears to be languishing in the marketplace.
