Pros:
Easy networking, fast printing |
Cons:
Bit noisy during printing I was tired of paying for inkjet cartridges and wanted a printer that any computer on my home WIFI network could print to. The Brother HL 2070N fit the bill perfectly and the cost is great for a networked printer. The printer worked exactly as advertised. I plugged it in to my network switch with a CAT5 cable (have to supply your own) and installed the printer driver software on each computer that I wanted to print from. Now I can easily print from any networked PC very quickly from anywhere in my house. Print quality is good and it prints very quickly. The size is also compact. The only cons is that it's B&W so this is best suited for printing documents and web pages. Also it's a little noisy when it starts a printing job. But overall this is a great printer for a home office.

Pros:
Print, speed and appearance |
Cons:
Network setup software and instructions needs work Just setup the printer today. Have Vista, XP and OSX systems. Finally abandon the Brothers software and manually setup the connections for the Vista and XP systems using Windows network wizard and a static IP address. The OSX setup was good... too bad I could not say the same about the MS. Otherwise I like what I see so far. Print is clear and only a little curve to the pages.

Pros:
Small, worked great at first |
| Cons:
Paper uptake wears out quickly, print quality diminishes This printer was great for the first 2 or 3 toner carts, then quality began to diminish greatly. I've had the machine for 2 years, use it regularly, probably for more volume than it's designed to handle. Paper uptake has been a problem from the beginning, toner spots pages and leaks onto paper supply when the paper jams. I realize this is an inexpensive laser printer, but quality has been disappointing.

Pros:
small foot print, about $.03/page and great wifi printer |
| Cons:
none at this time For the price, can't beat the $150 printer from Staples and even got a $50 rebate so final cost is $100. not bad.
