Pros:
High quality mono printouts, very good performer, powerful compact duplex Laser printer |

Cons:
papers may get very hot especially in duplex mode, network comes at a price, low capacity toner comes in the package I got this printer for some research projects, I installed it almost in lest than 5 minutes and started printing. I started with 370 pages document, the 1320 just adopted itself to the request and started at full duplex the whole job took about 23 minutes, thats about 16 pages per minutes with duplex mode and 600dpi. Econo mode is useless, since it compromises the quality of your output. Graphics come decently quick however if I had added some RAM that could have been a lot better. The 1320 is a good performer I recommend it for every user looking for quality output, however there are some issues that HP must work on for example the heat that dissipates on duplexed papers it may burn your fingers in heavy graphics printing. Another thing the price that you may pay just to get a bluetooth device or jetdirect is comparatively high. Also the on board RAM upgrade, HP sells you 128MB module for a little less than $900 thats about 2.7 times the price of a new 1320!!! Sometimes the alert software that comes with 1320 will falsely report a failing job. Also when you have heavy printing the machine will pause for some time and nothing is reported in the alerts software. What I like most is the web management page that gives a handy toolbox to control your printer. The PCL6/PCLXL/PS2 are essential juicy features, however I would have preferred if they add PS level 3 or more. All in all, I recommend this printer for personal, and small groups...

none I have nothing bad to say about this printer, It beats my old Sansung. I like the fact that the tray holds 250 sheets and can copy on both sides. I got mine at Office Max on sale for under $200. I praise HP for the good quality printer, but most of all I really like to praise Office Max because they have discontinued offering rebates throuhg the mail, instead you get the discount instantly. This is the way things should be. Instead of waiting for the check in the mail which in most cases never come, in hopes you forget about it. Cheers Officemax. Good printer!

Pros:
Outstanding Text Quality, Duplex printing |
Cons:
Grumbly LOUD I love my new 1320--I took back a Brother 2040 that was curling paper and giving lighter grayish text for this model; I believe the 1320 is now discontinued (12/06), for the new 2015 line that offers a much better manual feed tray--the 1320 can only accept one single manual sheet/envelope at a time. Perhaps because of this, I got my 1320 for 1/2 retail, including shipping, off of eBay, making it a superlative buy: outstanding quality text and effortless two sided printing (duplex) for $200 shipped. Plus, people now come over and say, "Ooooh, you have a LASERJET!" The manual feed (that other reviewers have complained about) hasn't given me a lick of trouble--printing single envelopes is a breeze. Only drawback is that this puppy is LOUD! And it isn't a "pretty" laser printer kinda sound (like the Brother or Samsungs make), this thing sounds like a Hyundai putzing down the street. If it suddenly started to print while I was sleeping, it would wake me... The text quality (and in a monochrome laser printer, isn't that what you're after?) is outstanding--as good as I've seen on $2500 Laserjets. Really, it just can't be beat (runs circles around the Brothers and Samsungs I checked out). I love the scaled down workgroup laser printer design with the incorporated paper tray--very chic int the home office, and much more attractive than those newer low end personal Laser printers with the paper jutting out like an inkjet... Setup on my Intel MacBook on an Apple Airport WIFI netwok was a little tricky--I had to download a newer driver from hp, but within and hour or two I was printing wirelessly! The CD that came with the printer had some qualms about loaing on my Mac--I had to reinsert it several times.

Pros:
Speedy, High quality, duplex |
Cons:
Best I have purchased this printer nearly 6 months back. I specially like it's printing speed & quality. I am using it on network. One more great feature is HP Toolbox Device Status, where we can check the current state of ink level, pages printed with current ink cartridge. Date of Install, Last used date etc. At present i have printed 3362 pages with one cartridge, some pages printed with high quality and mostly i use tonner save(Econo Mode). Only one problem i have found with this printer yet. some time when i sent a document to printer, that does not print. but when i turn off printer and back on again, printer print all the pages which i sent for printing & everything becomes ok. I recommend this printer to everyone.

Pros:
Good inital printer |
| Cons:
Will not last When I bought the printer, my friend told me I should buy the next model up beacuase this one is made to cheaply, and the cartridge guide inside the printer will break and make the repair not worth fixing. He was right, it broke right after warranty was up. Now its a paper weight. Yours will be one too!
