Pros:  Very powerful. More than I expected from a PDA

Cons:  Windows Mobile 2003 I've had this great gadget for 2 weeks now and the only problems I've had is setting up Bluetooth on my HP laptop. I think my biggest gripe is that this mobile version of windows is completely different that any version of windows I've used before. While it is the latest and greatest version of mobile windows, it should operate more like it's bigger brother - XP !!

I also purchased a 1 GB SD card for this baby.... WOW ! I can carry tons of documents, folders full of photos, and music out the wazoo ! The camera is a nice touch if you need to take a photo of something in a pinch but it's not a substitute for a regular quality digital camera. If you drink a lot of coffee or had a few too many drinks the night before, you better steady your hand on something because it demands a steady hand for a quality photo. The photos are awesome quality if you can hold your hand still ! I built in remote control for ANY wireless device is a nice touch too, especially with the included Nevo software. I freaked the wife out by turning the tv and dvd player on and off !! Buahahahaha !!

I would highly recommend one of these baby's to anyone. If it didn't cost so much, I would have bought the wife one too. I'm sure she'll steal it from me eventually anyway !!

I don't write many reviews on electronics I purchase but I had to for this sha--Weeet piece of hardware !! Buy one... you won't be sorry.

Pros:  Wireless connectivity

Cons:  Sometimes it seems confused and you have to soft reset it. I got it for work but now I carry it everywhere. A great PDA with lots of storage space, but I particularly appreciate the WI-FI which allows me to pick up and respond to my email remotely. (Careful, I found out the hard way that most places like McDonalds and Starbucks charge for the WI-FI service). The screen brightness and colors are better than anything that I have seen from Palm. I put a 1GB SD card on it and have plenty of space. Eventually I purchased a GPS for it which works great. When I called HP to see if it was GPS compatable, the tech told me that it was not, but then called ma back 30 min later to tell me that he had erred and that it was in fact compatable with the GPS. I call that exceptional service. I was sent email about updated GPS software but I could not get it to work. The orig software works fine though.
There is a bit of a learning curve to get started. The still camera is great but as the last reviewer mentioned, dont be shaky!. And dont forget that it also has a movie camera, and sound recorder.
The transcriber lets you write anywhere on the screen in script (no funny character codes), and it translates to print characters.
I havent had any prob with battery life. I love it.

Pros:  1 million miles!

Cons:  Windows Vista Problems First off, this product is not new. I have had mine for over two tears. I am a truck driver and this thing has bounced all over the country. I have had very few problems and nothing that a reset would not fix. I use SD memory cards to back up data. I do some WyFi but mostly use it for writing and reading. I have written several three-hundred-page books and have downloaded the classics; also, it’s a great E-books reader! I take this thing every place I go. When I am home, it's handy to use at night as the adjustable backlight allows me to use it without disturbing my wife's sleep. I would recommend this product for anyone that likes to put down thoughts and ideas where ever they are. If you are looking for a PDA ‘toy’ this is not it. If you are wanting a real pocket PC that runs on the windows system and has a great music player, this is it.

Pros:  Mp3

Cons:  memory I really love how much I can get out of my PDA. It is my personal entertainment center with awesome capability in office tech on the go. I was not to happy with the fact that their is so little memory but no worries since it does take SD cards. Overall, I love it!

HP Ipaq's

Pros:  none

Cons:  durability, size, screen, & cost I have purchased two HP Ipaq's in the past two years. My latest one lasted exactly 11 months. For whatever reason, the Mother board went bad. I am not one to over use the PDA. I am very upset with HP for putting such a unit on the market that will not hold up with general use. I will be purchasing Palm products from this day forward. When shopping for a new PDA, found that HP has pulled the Ipaq off the shelves at Office Depot. Makes one wonder????? It is also my belief that when you pay $350 for a product with HP's name the warranty should be at least one year not 90 days.
