It will stop you cold If you are an SBC DSL user, DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS PRODUCT. I have just spent a week of complete frustration after downloading this.
Problem? It will prevent you from being able to connect to the internet.
What's worse? You can NOT get any help from Norton/Symantec, plus even if you can get through, they want to charge you $29.95. I waited two different times for 30 minutes on hold before giving up - the second time I'd even gotten a "priority" case number from them.
This product obviously has major flaws - and you will not get through to get help from them. I ended up simply uninstalling it and will fight them to get my money back.
SAVE YOURSELF THE GRIEF! DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS PRODUCT.

none trying to do update keep getting this message LU1806: LiveUpdate downloaded all of the updates you requested, but all of them failed to install. Please try to get the updates at a later time.

| Cons:
Slow scanner, not that effective, expensive to renew definitions, very bad email scanner. If you're in need of antivirus software, get McAfee. This is absolutly NOT worth the money. First of all, it's not too effective. When it finds a virus (if it ever does), it says it cannot be deleted. Now, it leaves me the task of having to go in and removing it myself. The scan time is also quite slow. It pesters you every day to renew your virus definitions. The definitios are also WAY too expensive. Also, whenever I send an email, it takes 3-6 minutes to scan the email. If yyou have an attachment, it'll take up to 10 minutes! It turns email into snail mail! If you're looking for a good antivirus, get McAfee. Don't ever get anything from Norton or Symantec!
