Pros:  Extreemly Fast, Loads of software, Excellent support

Cons:  costly vga screen, not compatible to windows media The unit is extreemly fast a lot of useful software, true vga but not compatible to windows media player video only shows in screen reduction mode, Ive owned several Pda's starting with a Zarus this is by far the best unit I purchased. I am currently I. T. Manager of a company and the 4705 works well with my system I use it to sync with my laptop, workstation and servers. The wifi and blurtooth are a must have. I able to conect and read emails anywhere in realtime through my bluetooth phone good job HP

Pros:  Large Screen - Very Important, memory expansion is easy & low cost

Cons:  none, really I'm much happier with HP than my buds are w/ Palm - they've got Treos & such. No phone in this, but of course it may be dangerous to combine too much functionality into one device ('cause, what if you break it?)

Pros:  VERY WELL EQUIPPED. GOOD FOR TV TOO.

Cons:  NO CONTROL PAD BUTTONS AND A BIT TO BIG. I HAVE FOUND THIS MACHINE VERY USEFUL. IT IS A BIT COSTLY BUT I THINK IT IS WORTH EVERY PENNY. YOU CAN EVEN SEE TV ON THIS DEVICE THROUGH YOUR WIRELESS NETWORK. THE LIST JUST GOES ON.

OVERALL, I BELIEVE IT'S ONE OF THE BEST IN THE MARKET TODAY.

Pros:  Powerful

Cons:  Too Big, Battery It's really a PDA-in-Dream. With 624MhzXscale chipset, it can do everything that other PDA can do and more.

The other thing that I love is display. It's the only one PPC with TFT 4" VGA display 65k colors

But I think 4700's sound is too bad for a super PPC

The Bluetooth works not good, quite slowly but the WiFi is acceptable one

Pros:  good product

Cons:  The pricy The product and the price is not correlate!!

This 39.90USD is for the software update, not the PDA itself. It confuse the reader!!

Please revise it. Thanks

Pros:  Versatile, like having a laptop in my palm, continues to amaze and awe colleagues and friends 2 years after purchase

Cons:  wifi bluetooth together drain battery fast, internal memory could be more, the mousepad was a bad idea, but not a real "bother" Ok, so I never write these reviews, but as a recognized "electronics / gadget addict", I must share my impressions of what must be the BEST electronic component in my arsenal of gadgets and gizmos. I a world of so many competing devices, my HP4705 continues to function as a laptop-in-my-palm, and trusty companion whenever I travel and everyday at work. It far exceeds the basic expected functions of keeping you organized (daily calendar, tasks, etc), but I use this as a device to record meetings, my 4-year old's voice, show photos to friends, as a super "i-pod" substitute, to watch DVDs (on an attached 2gb SD card), check email while travelling, instant message on wifi, make Skype calls in airports, surf internet when travelling through a BT connection to my phone, check wireless network integrity, write meeting notes, read e-books, play games, read the newspapers (through Avantgo), entertain kids using scanned storybooks, the LIST IS ENDLESS. A day doesn't go by when I'm not grateful for this purchase. It still runs with the top dogs on the market and outperforms Pocket-PCs which build in phones and DRAIN batteries even faster. Also it is rock-solid- I've dropped it countless times and NEVER lost data or had a broken screen, or unit. I would buy this unit again 100 times if faced with a choice.
