Pros:

Cons:
None so far I recently purchased this modem online. I have a Windows XP Desktop, an HP Photosmart All-in-One C5180 Printer (with Ethernet Networking capability) and a new Laptop with Windows Vista.
I installed the modem software on my desktop and the CD walks you thrugh the setup step by step. I have the printer plugged into the Ethernet port, my computer plugged into the USB Port and my laptop came with a wireless card. Now I have a wireless internet and printing capabilities on my laptop with a network setup, all with one piece of equipment!
So far the modem has performed beautifully. The firewall setup is controlled online. Jusat make sure your firewall does not prevent current and future software installations.
Overall a great buy.

Pros:
Connects quickly |
|
|
|
| Cons:
Only WEP encription supported by Motorola tech I returned the SBG900 after finding the setup process was inadequate and unclear for use of WPA encryption. A call to the Motorola tech help line resulted in NO help. Motorola policy the tech said is to not help setup WPA only WEP. I switched to a competitor which their tech did help us establish WPA encryption.
