Cons:
Software Well, All I can say is that it plays a good DVD movie on windows XP.
Software comes with no Hardware Drivers so you're computer knows what it's using. When you plug in the USB cable, the computer has to guess what the hell it's using by looking it up in Windows extensive driver library of common hardware makers.
Trying to burn on a memorex CD-RW disk makes the hotburn pro software spaz out with error messages, and the only way to make it stop is by ctrl+alt+del and then end task after removing the disk. After awhile I think my own computer finally rejected the hardware because it was feeling my pain as well lol.
My advice is to stay away from Iomega products until they can learn how to program software that a computer can use. As for me I'm sending this paper weight back to the store :D.
