Pros:

| Cons:
Weak Signal Airport Extrem works up and down, signal comes and go, in a simple range of 10 ft with few walls inbetween no able to establish steady signal. I'm very disappointed by a almost US$300 product. Setup Assistant easy only the first time, for any change you wish to perform the Setup Assistant is a nightmare. I bought now Airport Express to reinforce signal. Spent almost US$ 400 to work wireless in an 500 sqft apartment... Or I'm asking too much from tech? People: Hands OFF.

Pros:
Excellent performance in an 802.11g-only network at close range; attractive design; solid security; allows network bridging. |

|
|
| Cons:
Performance drops in mixed-mode (802.11b and 802.11g) environment; has a short range; weak tech support; only two Ethernet ports; doesn't include an Ethernet cable. The AirPort Extreme performs well in a close-knit 802.11g network, but it's not fast enough in mixed mode to warrant upgrading.
