Sony CLIE PEG-NZ90 PDA
|
|
Product Description
The newest addition to the family of CLIÉ handhelds continues the Sony tradition of creating new product categories. Its effective two-megapixel digital camera features built-in flash and auto-focus capabilities, helping to ensure that candid moments will be captured in bright, vivid and clear resolution. Additionally, the CLIÉ NZ90 model features a Wi-Fi (802.11b) communications slot and integrated Bluetooth wireless connectivity options. "Rivaling the gadgetry found in modern day spy movies, the CLIÉ NZ90 handheld integrates a feature uncommon in the handheld market these days: excitement," said Russell Paik, Sony Electronics' vice president for handheld marketing. "It's a turning point in the way handheld devices are defined." The new handheld features a host of Sony's signature technologies and designs, including the high resolution color LCD screen (320 x 480 pixels), the popular flip-and-twist LCD screen design, an integrated MP3 player, a built-in AV remote controller application, and voice recording capabilities.

Cons:
Yes I also have a sony peg-nz90. I am still weighing my pros and cons Of Palm vs pocket pc. Apples are apples, and an orange is still an orange. How many features do you really want ? I want them all including the phone, which they dont offer. 1. Yes its big, but do yuo need a case ? 2. The stylus is a stupid. The idea That sony thinks you can use one hand, placing the stylus, I belive is wrong. Sony has thought about, any How, its a pain to use. And were they placed the hot snyc was terrible. 1. 802.11b wireless Love it. 2. Camera (2.0 megal pixel love it. 3. Voice Recorder, Love it. 4. Video Camera, Love it. 5. The replaceable battery, good idea, love it. 6.Gotta love that jog dial. 7. Memo pad, Love it. 8.Mp3 Love it. 9.Over all I Love it. It is my 2nd laptop. Would I keep my sony over buying maybe say a HP ipaq5455 ? I am not sure. They are both graet units. Now comes your worse nightmare Palm vs Pocket Pc. Thats a whole new story in its self. Think on it for a few weeks, sony will have made a new one by then.

The Ulitmate All-In-One? First Sonys NX series...and now the NZ90? Why do they just improve only on one feature at a time each time they come out with a new pda. Somethings always missing. In addition to the 2MP flash camera, for THAT PRICE they should have also upped the features to have already built-in, and not just as an add-on accessory, the following: =128MB RAM - to store the 2MP pix and MP3s, GPS, Documents-To-Go app., Wi-Fi, DateBook+, AM/FM radio, and full version software instead of just trial versions. Also a detachable and retractable wired camera lens would have allowed more flexibility. I only wish it would have included a phone compatible with Nextel, then I would have the ULTIMATE 007 gadget!
